Suggesting humanity will become extinct due to low sperm counts http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-40719743
I know this site is somewhat Euro-centric, and I've spent a bit of time working in Belgium, the UK and France, so I'm not typically US only focused, but for the life of me, whenever I see "BBC" in the title of a thread, I think Big Black Cock, not British Broadcasting Corporation!
Perhaps the future does not require sperm. https://futurism.com/scientists-bred-male-mice-no-y-chromosomes-can-still-reproduce/
Before all you boys go squirting off about how much ejaculate you are capable of producing do please understand that there can be a very low number or even no sperms in it at all.
I had myself made user friendly years ago. Medical checks before new realionships are consumated and after said realtionships end have ensured that my body fluids contain no unpleasent surprises. The drop in sperm count in what is called the west, the 1st world or the industialised economies has been a real concern for years. Hormones getting into our food and water being at one time considered to be a major factor over the last 20-30 years with the birth pill being thought a major factor as regards water supplies. The increase in the number of people with gender and identity issues and clinics for the can't get pregnant are also thought to be further evidence of there being potenially big problems with fertility generally. As the 3rd world, underdeveloped countries etc whatever you call it becomes more like the 1st the problems re fertility will undoubtedly spread. Perhaps the remainder of the flora and fauna of the world has a greater shance of survival than we thought as our own sucesses and achievements slowly reduce our ability to reproduce to the inevitable conclusion, all cloned from genetically modified eggs and cells. So few of us living so much longer maybe then we will think about looking after the place. or of course killing ourselves off through insane jealousy.
Life they say always finds a way. ever did find out who THEY are though... still there seems to be some truth in it.
Perhaps in the future men will become sterile and the women will shop in catalogues for the massive amounts of fertile sperm that is in cold storage at the moment! There's probably enough to keep the human race well provided for, for thousands of years already in little frozens pots around the world! The Ben and Jerry's of procreation? Sissysnax X
