alright ladies and gentlemen. My jailbird has been ordered and excited about having a real cage that fits exact and can be cleaned without having to be taken off like my Chinese tube cage. This wait is going to be excruciating. I’m pretty sure the measurements were precise. I had an extra ring put on it and the screw countersunk.

You can't go wrong. It is cheaper than 500.00 dollars worth of disposable one's that do not fit. Mine's been on since November 11th and have no idea when it is going to come off. You made a smart move going with MM.

Well it arrived on Wednesday the 7th and so far fits very well. I should have went a 1/4 inch shorter but as of now it fits great! Thanks Mistress MM and sir!
I too ordered a Jail Bird and have been wearing it for over a week now. I had tried a Holy Trainer model a while ago and it just wasn't comfortable enough for long-term wear. It was Mature Metal's sizing rings and sizing guide that made the difference. I was able to find the right base ring fit and shape (the round sizing ring was perfect, whereas the oval Holy Trainer was all wrong). I may end up ordering a slightly shorter cage, but as it is it's amazingly comfortable. I can wear it all day at work and sleep with it, with no discomfort other than overnight erections, which pinch a bit but that's also part of the fun. Also, the look and feel of the metal cage is, in my opinion, far superior to a plastic tube. Easier hygiene as well. I'm a fan!
As others have said, you’re going to really like it. Having tried about five different cages, it’s the only one that I can wear long term. One suggestion: get an oval and a circle base ring... you will likely find one more wearable than the other. It’s a little more cost but worth it IMHO. And yes, the wait is excruciating
But the break in period sucks. Been 6 months since using a Chinese cage that did the same thing and was never able to get into long term wear. I’ve used bag balm and baby oil gel on this from the first day putting it on. Hopefully the break in period will be short. I’ll leave it off until it’s healed.
The common reasons for a ring sore like that is sweat salt and/or friction, both can be avoided by using creams. Try vaseline / petroleum jelly, E40 cream, Bepanthen ointment, skin moisturiser, Get a couple of them at least as they have different viscosities and absorb at different rates, when your skin is warm and humid you might prefer one over another when your skin is dry and cool. Generally, if the ring doesn't rotate smoothly when you try to slide it around, whack some ointment on.
So I’ve noticed as I walk since I have rather large balls and big thighs the whole cage is going back and forth and pulling the skin with it. I can feel the post going left then right. It’s not sliding on the skin but tugging I’d say. I’ve been using baby oil gel and bag balm. I think I need the slicker stuff like the gel. I am assuming this is why I have had the same issue with every ball trap device. At least this one takes care of the edema from not being so tight in a tube like my last one. I’ll try to lube more often and maybe invest in silicone lube that will not soak into the skin as fast.
Looks nice. I too ordered my first cage a little too long in the cage. I am waiting on my 1/2" shorter one now. So excited, waiting is difficult. In the meantime my first one keeps me tidy.
I am just blown away. Mature Metal and @mistressmaturemetal have outdone themselves. I got my new cage today and I just have goosebumps all over. It fits amazing and feels so perfect. I have the large punishment pin in and when not aroused it's perfectly comfortable.
