Why do i have to reset my invisible mode everytime i come on here, I'm getting fed up with personal chats popping up everytime i log in, If i was a chatty person i would go into the Chat area, Im not and like my privacy. Can something be done about this please.
Same as @L-u-c-y here - it retains my setting when I log out and back in again. I don't know much about cookies and settings but could it be that your browser settings are such that it is set to forget once you close a page? I have a programme that pops up and asks if I want to clear my history - could be something like that? I am sure some of the tech guys will put me right on that though
I did not know you can turn off chat. I dont mind the chat requests they are fairly infrequent and almost always from people I care or did care about. occasionally from some poor bugger thats found themself alone in the chat room with 'questions'.
Well reset all cookies and still have to click on the chat box bottom right and reset it from available to invisible every time i come on here
Is there any way to disable this. Hat thing as I’m getting very very annoyed with it to the point I won’t come on here
Do you really get that many messages? Are you aware you don't have to reply? You could block everyone who messages you.
Thank you, I am aware I don’t have to answer but every time I come on here there are folk wanting to chat privately, I’m a quiet shy type of person especially with folk I don’t know. It’s not the messaging system it’s the private chat in bottom R/H. Corner I keep setting it to invisible but it changes to available every time I log back in. Can it be deactivated
