    Hey everyone,

I've been a chastity fan and lurker on here for a long time. Recently I decided to take my interest to the next level and start working on new designs using CAD and 3D printing. I've been posting about my process over on reddit, and a couple people encouraged me to show my work here too. I'm hoping to get feedback and maybe even some more testers : )

I live in the Bay Area and am a private but all-around very kinky guy.

One other thing: I tried posting about my projects in the devices forum, and I kept getting an error message. I tried with and without links, with and without different words, and still couldn't get it to post. It's pretty frustrating. Does anyone know what's up with that?

    Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the site and good luck with your devices! Not sure about the posting issues, I’m sure someone will chime in on that.

Good to have you here. I hope you have a good commercial grade machine and are using high quality materials. If not, you will quickly discover that 3D printing and chastity devices are not a great combination with hobbyist level equipment and materials.

I'd love to see more 3D printed PA secured chastity tubes. Seems it would be easy to design. I love my Lori 8a but I can't wear it traveling.

Thanks! Yes, my first print was at a local shop with a desktop printer using PLA, and I learned fast that not all prints are created equal.

Since then I've been using only industrial SLS printing services, and the quality is outstanding. I can generally get .1-.2mm precision and bombproof solidity. The two issues I'm still trying to resolve by exploring different materials are: 1) going from low flex to zero flex; and 2) getting a surface texture that's as close to perfectly smooth as possible, instead of the slight eggshell texture of normal SLS-printed nylon.

Very cool! I agree 3D-printed devices are a great solution for travel. I know Pedro even has a travel-safe locking mechanism that's made from plastic. Though does your PA itself not set off scanners?

I have a 4g captive bead ring that doesnt cause any issue with metal detectors or scanners.

I'm finding that PETG is actually just fine coming off a home 3D printer, and can actually be as smooth as the SLS machines with proper finishing. Strength along the layer lines is the biggest enemy, but when designed and printed properly, I've worn my prototypes for weeks straight.

The rigidity issue is primarily an issue of material and to a lesser extent layer thickness. The texture issue can be resolved through a combination of material, layer thickness, and printing technology, along with secondary operations to deburr and smooth.
