Well, you just bought a $13 cage for $46, so it might be easier and more cost effective to buy a similar cage with a padlock from the same Chinese sources LTC dropships from.

This is a more open design with the same "observatory" tip. I have a similar one, and was pleasantly surprised the fit of the cage to the locking post is very rigid, snug, and rattle-free. Unfortunately, I bought mine a little short, and since learned the shorter-than-flaccid-length cages cause the most sensitive skin to push out, and grate on my underwear during the day.

Or just drill out the closed side of the ring for your cage, and you can use a pin. It won't affect your ability to use the integrated lock if you do it right.

As an example, here is a cage that comes with both an integrated lock and a pin/padlock. I have no experience with this cage, it doesn't look like I would try it, either.

I honestly don’t know why people order Chinese mass-made cages from lockthecock or Oxyshop for that markup. Is their return policy better? or shipping faster than from China? privacy policy? There needs to be some value added.

    I hope @JosieLynn Jewell
is getting some payment for all the hard work put into the CherryKeeper line. They misspell your name and don’t mention CherryKeeper

What is it that draws people to these cages? I Do know @MaleChastityNow is one of the few custom makers that has a hybrid semi-custom line of $160 cages to modify the locking mechanism with a more solid and comfortable solution.

Amicus, Adaptus and Explorer are examples of this where you can get a padlock, a security screw or a high security system with numbered seals.

I haven't used them, but I think Oxy stocks at least some of their products, based on the fact that they are sometimes out of stock of items or certain options within an item. Their all-in-one sets seem like a convenient way to try out a number of options, without an absurd markup. The steel version is basically a $15 device with a silicone catheter, plus two additional rings, plus an additional cage, plus a plastic key safe. You'd minimally have to buy two devices plus a ring and the box from a Chinese source, which easily gets you over $40. Oxy sells the kit for $65. If it's in stock, you might have it the same week in the US.

I did order from LTC once, assuming the ridiculous markup meant they stocked items, and from the ad copy, thought they might vet or even have designed some items. However, everything they sell is available from wholesalers, they stock the unusable plastic CBxxxx knockoffs with the I beam rings, and I received one device with a steel urethral insert that was absolutely dangerous to the wearer, with a sharply tapered tip made of low grade "stainless" steel; fairly magnetic, dull and unpolished. Being dumb I tried it for a couple hours anyway, and bled for three days.

Honestly I am just new to this and it is what I found online. Any advice you can give would be great, thank you. I will take a look at those sellers though.

Not questioning, just wondering. Why do you want to make a lock change? What is it about padlock vs integrated lock that you prefer?

I was just offering advice of the only place I have seen that offers an adapter. I have never purchased anything
    from OXY

I know that the Cherry Keeper line of cages has that accessory. You may want to contact them and see if it is compatible. I would think so considering they use a standard lock.
