does anyone know on here how Much or where you can source replacement screws that go into the insert, I misplaced mine this morning on an early morning toilet trip and now it's dissapeard
i have had this as well i just know its 3.5 mm bore.... i just" screwed" another temp. one in As im in the market for a new better securer one im not gonna order a closing screw for this old one im afraid
I emailed dietmar and he is sending some replacements free of charge , I was prepared to pay, it was my fault after all
oh thats pretty good of him , in my next device i think ill ask if he can enlarge the cap at the end of the screw as its so tiny youll lose it quickly...
Hi both, Are you talking about the small screw that threads into the end (i.e. down the opening) of the fixed insert on a Looker or similar Steelworxx device? I just got my Looker 01 last week, and was rather surprised to find this included. What's it for? Cienna
It's going to be metric for a start . Just go to any hardware store and get a couple of samples . If the out side of the tube is say 6mm then the screw is going to be around 3 or 3.5 possibly 4 mm . Go for stainless steel and a few rubber "O" rings . You should be fine. Xx Wendy
