    I was tasked to not only cook a nice meal but to plate it and present it as well.
    Today’s meal: Roast beef, roast potatoes, sautéed carrots, steamed broccoli, Yorkshire pudding, apple crumble. A nice white wine.

    Actually, there was onion in the sauce along with orange juice and ketchup, so there's lots of fruit and veg in there albeit hidden, and don't forget wine has lots of grapes in it.

    I see you guys posting pics of pies, kabobs, and just about anything tasty one could dream of.
    I am but an elephant in a China shop when stumbling around that foreign land oft heard of but seldom explored...the kitchen.
    Good for you, thanks for sharing your talents! Who knows, with enough inspiration, I may find my way to that cooking class just yet.

    Very impressive setup!
    Something like that bespeaks of one very serious enthusiast if not a professional.
    I just want to assure everyone that I know you are all just regular guys living regular lives (whatever a 'regular life' is LoL), who happen to enjoy cooking.
    I often comment to the Mrs about what an exceedingly intelligent and talented group of people you are. I don't give that compliment lightly as I have and do work with some of the most intelligent and talented tradesmen and controls people around and I've met lots over the years, so I know excellence when I see it.
    Anyway, one thing about me is that I freely give credit where due, and the culinary skills I've seen here tell me that my signature PB&J just ain't gonna cut it :)

    lol, a couple years ago I took some culinary classes which was my wife's idea. I like that she's not afraid to just tell me if I suck at something. My cooking is pretty decent now from both of our viewpoints. However, I've been on a strict diet for a while so I haven't been able to enjoy much of it for myself. In a way I like it better just cooking for her though. Sometimes she gives me some if I'm good.

    I want to learn some better massage techniques too. She's not complaining about those but I always strive to improve my service if I can. Just remember, even if you have no discernible talents, a bit of work and you can provide much more pleasure for your mistress. :)
