I have a few urgent things to take care of, so I put on a device to essentially put myself into focus mode. I am also in the middle of my weight loss journey so I went to gym today. After working out while wearing a device, I went to the bathroom stall, undid my cage but kept the ring on, showered and came home.

I washed my cage at home, and put it back on. As I was closing the lock I had that moment of "oh wait, where did I put the key?"

click. The locked closed. Then I realized I left my key in the gym short I wore at the gym. The gym I go to have a rental service you can sign up for, so I can just go to gym not having to worry about having gym clothes with me. I panicked a bit, and rushed to the gym and asked about the lost and found in the gym shorts.

Unfortunately, it's already picked up by the service crew and it's already in the washing machine and they have no promise on whether they would be able to find it or not.

So here I am, without a key (any key at that), and just sitting here (and I still have that urgent things to take care of). Ughhh

    Cheers,
    CattowerCat.

Heh. I'm careful with the keys, both as a top and as a bottom.

I typically am too. Although this is the second time I lost my key to my cage, so perhaps I no longer than say that I am careful with my keys..

Uh... Wow. I would be in full panic, amazed that you can post cogently! Best wishes to you and, I guess, enjoy it while you can?

What kind of device are we talking about? Padlock, internal lock, or security screw?

UPDATE: Service crew did find my key on Tuesday but I couldn't get it as it was around their closing hours, and gym was closed on Wednesday, so I had to wait till Thursday to get my key back. So no worries! and yeah.. I should be more careful with my key next time. :(

I was not in full panic because I know I can get out of this cage if I really wanted to. But it still sucked.

It's a security screw, so bolt cutter won't do the job, but yeah, hardly inescapable.

    Security screw with MaleChastityNow's Contender.

Lol, same device I'm wearing. If that thing has a PA pin they you definitely weren't coming out of that thing.

I find it hard to reconcile the fact that you say you are careful with your key and yet put it in the pocket of your gym shorts. What was wrong with leaving it in your locker in wherever you normally carry it... in your clothing /wallet.

Conscioulsy or not I think you brought about this loss yourself.

I'm sure you will work something out when you have enjoyed your predicament sufficiently.
And your lady appears to have at least one. You will just have to admit your carelessness

"Ward, don't you think you were a little hard on the Beaver?"

Sometimes we think that we're careful, only to have an incident or circumstance pop up that we hadn't considered. Or we've just forgotten because of distractions. If we learn from those experiences and modify our future behavior, then all is well - that's how things are supposed to work. ;)

I should explain myself better. After my workout, I went to the bathroom stall to undo my cage as I wasn't going to shower with my cage on so everyone in the shower can see it. I came out of the bathroom with my cage undone, and I put it in my gym bag carefully (there were few people around me), and after I was able to put my cage in my bag without anyone noticing, I completely forgot about my key and proceeded to the shower area.

I know it was a bad idea and I am now doubling thinking wearing my device to the gym.

Yeah.. I got distracted. At least I won't make that same mistake again!

heyy follow contender wearer. I do not have PA done and I just can't. I am also against bodymod so no piercing of any kind (including ear-rings), so there is that.

On completely unrelated note, I am slowly considering trying Mature Metal's jailbird. Do you have any experience with jailbird or any other Mature Metal's?

Both devices are fantastic. I prefer the jailbird over the queens keep and other devices. Rings are easier to keep everything clean than the flat bases on the others.

I use the mature metal screw on my contender because it’s much more secure than the “security” hex on the contender. I can get one of those at most hardware stores.

Side note, I had a pa fixing on my first contender. It worked very well but absolutely no chance to stand and pee. I need that option at times so with my new contender cage I didn’t go for the pa fixing.

Contender is a really good device, there is no denying that. But I also want to try oval ring and a slightly bend down design of jailbird. I also don't know how I feel about heavier device tho. Contender is the heaviest device I own so far but I really don't think contender is too heavy, but considering jailbird IS heavier than contender, hmm.. thoughts?

My contender is bent down as well not as much work to produce the bend, but it’s very similar. The weight isn’t much of an issue, not enough to matter. Not like a paperweight Lori device... You really can’t go wrong with either. I definitely prefer a secure security screw like Mature Metal uses, that’s the edge I see. I have an oval ring from Malechastitynow and it fits slightly better (for me) than the Mature Metal oval. It is slightly less oval so it’s a very personal preference.

Mark will do just about anything you want! Those options are on the site but many are not. I just can’t beli how fast he gets it done! I ordered my last cage on a Friday and it got to me on Saturday. Amazing really. Though I’m only a few hours from where he is in Seattle so that helps, but still!
