    The CB6000s cage is not very practical for prolonged use. Needs daily grooming, etc.
    How do you do it?

    Hello and welcome. I was in a cb6000s for months but found it not very “easy”.
    My wife/keyholder liked it because of its little padlock and key (that looked “cute” around her neck) but long term wear was difficult.

    Bingo. The CB6000 is rarely feasible for long term (greater than a few days) use. Most men will experience significant discomfort after a while, and chafing to the point of ulceration. Might consider something else for longterm 24/7 use, which is how many of us here are locked.

    Switched from the cd6000 to steel after the shaft split and pinched the bottom of the shaft and hurt like all hell. The other issue was cleaning, had to come off every other day to clean out, no matter if it was me or the wife it never felt clean. Was great for getting into the lifestyle and spending a day, but the steel cage works best for us.

    That was exactly my experience. In fact, one time I actually split the cb in half!

    Steel really is the only way to go for long-term wear.

    I started with the cb6000s, and while it definitely let me know that chastity would be an on-going part of my life, I had difficulty wearing it long term. Perhaps as a reward for his progress you might allow him a metal cage
    In my experience they tend to not only be more comfortable, but also easier to keep clean
