On the one hand it's great that a well-known website like Men's Health talks positively about chastity. One the other hand, there's a lot of other stuff mixed in that I feel would turn many people off (including my wife). For example, the implication that chastity is best combined with cuckolding, the implication that men wanting chastity are submissive and shy (i.e., "beta"), or the inevitable blah-blah about the patriarchy and gender norms. I wish they had focused more on the couples having better sex lives or a better emotional connection.
Very nice articles. I think seeing write ups like this in general publication does make chastity seem more open and mainstream. Unlike others who commented here, i found the chastity article to be very supportive of idea that chastity strengthens the bond for couples, makes sex better and more attractive to females and is generally positive. Sure there is some involvement of other kinks, like cuckolding, but it is done in terms of the overall improved relationship of the couple. Because chastity has such overlap with so many other sexual interests, like submission, feminization, cuckolding, and BDSM, having an article only devoted to 'vanilla' style chastity can't really be expected.
Totally agree. Personally I wish that I could find mainstream media articles to show my vanilla wife, that would focus on just chastity and not associate a whole bunch of kinks that are off putting for nice girls... In fact Id say the same about the Mansion! Though the stories here are amusing and appeal to my kinky perverted mind...
I agree with you. I think the best vanilla reads that don't bring it all the more extreme stuff like cuckolding or pegging are "Lucy Fairbourne: A Guide for Keyholders" (book) and "Secret to a Happy Marriage" (website) The problem of course is that none of these show up at the top of the Google search. So basically, if you tell a woman about chastity for the first time, and she does a websearch for it, she'll most likely find the "weird" articles that make her think you're more of a pervert than you really are (unless you are of course lol)
