How many chastity styles are there?

    This came up on another thread. From reading closely, I seem to see four distinct chastity styles:
    • Power Exchange: Chastity as leverage, orgasm as reward.
    • Extreme Flirting: Chastity as vulnerability, orgasm as something to be prayed for (LOL)
    • Role Reversal: Chastity as feminisation, orgasm through pegging etc.
    • Neutering Lite: Chastity as penis decomissioning, orgasm off the cards.
    Relationships may swing between them, or blend them, but the logic is distinct for each.

    What do you people think? Did I miss one?

    Marriage and Male Improvement: Use of chastity device to improve the male and the marriage. By controlling his erection she learns that she has authority and he learns to accept that he is submissive and that being a full male involves more than penetration. She decides when an erection is an appropriate expression of part of his masculinity.     It’s always very difficult to put everyone into a class or specific style. Everyone of us are different and our Chastity relationships are different. I have to go along with @Rectrix and say Marriage and Male improvement.

    All the styles that you list @Giles_English are part of the commitment to your spouse and what she wants. Pleasure or sexual activity are at her discretion when or if she decides to grant me the privilege.

    I appreciate what your trying to do but it’s not as cut and dry as putting people into a style or class. Thanks

    While this is in effect what she'd be doing, I prefer to think of it as bringing their sexual activities back into alignment. The wife can let the husband cum every time they have a sexual interaction and that could be morning, noon, and night, and it is still chastity because all of the husband's sexual activities are with the wife.

    I like @LockedGreg 's concept of "extended foreplay," so let's use that instead of extreme flirting.

    Behaviour modification/husband improvement is one I entirely missed. Let's call it Vanilla Control
    • Vanilla Control: Chasity as erection on/off switch, orgasm with partner during vanilla sex.
    • Power Exchange: Chastity as leverage, orgasm as reward.
    • Extended Foreplay: Chastity as vulnerability, orgasm something to be prayed for, sometimes arrived spoiled.
    • Role Reversal: Chastity as feminisation, orgasm through pegging etc.
    • Neutering Lite: Chastity as penis decomissioning, orgasm off the cards.

    (@Mash2214 - You may be right, but let's see how this goes. I suspect you can describe most chastity relationships in terms of a few parameters.)

    I disagree with the name "vanilla control," there's nothing vanilla about it. I could go with "Behavior Modification and Marriage Improvement."

    It doesn't feel very kinky though, either! But I get where you'e coming from. Let's call it "Behaviour Modification"

    I like the Behavior Mod distinction. I definitely fit there. Was struggling when only Neutering was on the list because that didn’t feel right for me. There’ll always be some variation not everyone will align 100% with.
