So I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I want to lock myself for certain amounts of time, but I don't have anyone to be a key holder. So I am thinking of way's I could keep the keys from myself but all the way's I've tried (aka Throwing the keys somewhere in my room) have ended in me finding them shortly after an hour or so. Any sort of information or tips would help.
Go on a walk in the country and hide it under a rock just as long as you mark the hiding area so you will find it again.
A kitchen safe can be a good idea, as can freezing the keys in the middle of a gallon of water. Posting them to yourself has also been mentioned although you need to hope they don't get lost.
emlalock and do not cheat, or rent a safe deposit box at a bank. That could make it much harder to get the keys depending on where and when your work hours are.
Absolutely. A kitchensafe (ksafe) will let you make the keys inaccessible for any period up to 10 days, more if you take out the batteries. For the ice method, get the largest saucepan possible and half fill with water and put in freezer so it sticks to bottom. When frozen add keys, top up with water and put lid on. Then you'll need to defrost freezer. There's also an article on this, with some other ideas, here. https://www.chastitymansion.com/forums/index.php?articles/keyholding-methods.1/
For myself I usually use the ksafe, because I only have to strong on the tenth day to relock it without using the keys and it works. As the longest I could do 9 relocking without touching the keys. I've also tried the ice method, I only used a bottle and it was too easy and enticing to take it out from the freezer while I'm away, and usable keys were waiting for me when I arrived home. This saucepan idea is awesome with the defrosting. Maybe I will use it too, thank you!
And you can even combine the two. Start off with the keysafe method. Then take out the batteries. Then lock the keysafe in something else, cupboard or trunk or whatever, then put keys to that in freezer as per above method. You will then not only have to wait for the freezer to defrost to get at the keysafe at all, but even then you'll still have another ten days to wait after you've replaced the batteries.
I posted this before in an old thread. Roughly an hours ride away there is a local public library that opens 1 morning and 1 full day a week There is a secluded section in library with some reference books, going on the dust they are seldom looked at. Underneath the shelf above the bottom one where even if there were no books on the bottom shelf a dachshund would not see it is a piece of gaffer tape with my key under it. The little old dears that work there are not as lithe as they once might have been so are extremely unlikely to discover the key.
I heard of someone did this. Then one weekend the library had workmen in and they upgraded the shelving and threw the old shelving away.
I almost made a mistake of not looking when trying to unlock my belt recently. Almost over-bent the key and snapped it because it wasn't in properly (but had enough leeway to rotate like 20 degrees somehow)
