Can anyone who has an HT model help me? the Chinese ring I am currently using is 1.5 inches / 40mm TALL, and more like 1.75' / 45mm WIDE...which dimension is representative of the size of ring I need??? I'm assuming 40mm? My HT is in the mail I think with a 36mm ring which probably won't work. Those guys don't respond to email at all.
I'll do some ring measuring when I get home in a bit, I have several. Well, measuring the 50mm may be a bit more difficult as my KH would probably not approve of removal...
Digital calipers read: 36mm = 47x38 40mm = 49x43 45mm = 57x51 50mm = 67xnot sure. Ouch! These are the widest possible measurements laterally and vertically. They seem to measure them more at the point of the smallest inner diameter.
I probably screwed something up. Hey again thanks so much for the help. it looks like the shape may be different between the HT and what I have so I will probably let them deliver it and then see if I need to order a different ring. Have a great night!
