Hello and welcome, I won't mention any particular device but I'd recommend something in stainless steel with a solid ring and as small a cage as nescessary to prevent even the slightest hint of an erection.

The cage type is really personal preference but once You get started i doubt You'll prefer anything less than steel. Try Mature Metal I think You'll be happy that You did.
Thanks everyone! We're currently inclined to go with the Mature Metal Jailbird. The objective is really to find something that we'll know will stay on until I unlock it, but also will allow him to conceal it without issues at work and around friends. If some of you have any experience with it, would you recommend it?
I've only just caught up with this thread, but I agree. MM is a very good choice, pratical and suitanle for long term continuous wear if desired. And easy to inspect and keep clean etc.Reasonably pried as well. If you want to upgrade still further then there's Lori, though most (but not all) of her verions need piercings also.

First off, welcome to the mansion. Nothing is more secure than to get him pierced and into something that he cannot pull out the back. I wear a jailbird, but am seriously considering taking the plunge for the PA and being anchored into it. Possibly going to a ringless design eventually.
How exactly does a cage prevent erections if there’s no base ring ? Can’t the cage just travel outward with the growing election? I don’t understand how ringless devices work. And just Incase someone knows, how is a jailbird secure if you can just pull out the back?
I think this is a good choice. There is a whole sub-forum here on the MM devices alone within the chastity devices section. Also at least one of the proprietors of MM is a CM member and posts here at whiles too and may be able to answer questions. I have never heard any bad reports of their products but many good ones and I have also had many PMs here and on FL with those using them. Depending on what work he does the MM device should be easy to conceal under normal clothes. And once settled in can if desired be worn continuously 24/7/365 with no hygiene problems Issues are: 1. Get measurements right first! 2. That done, consider a double or even triple base ring: will make it a lot more stable. 3. Decide if you want a padlock or screw lock or both. They will optionally do a locking pin with two holes if you want. There are pros and cons either way, I'd have the two hole with option for either/both in the first instance, 4. Is he to have a spare key in the initial stages at least? If so then also get a spare padlock which you can swap down the line if/when the time is right for you.
I find the MM Queen's Keep subtle and wear it for work no problem. It has a light feel to it. And my gf likes the anti-pullout pin aspect of it. But I guess other devices have that option too.
You will not beat the mm Jailbird. I can wear it anywhere. Play sports, ride my motorcycle. Just do not order it too long and make sure the diameter is correct.
