Welcome fellow Canadian! I am not sure what type of cage you have but perhaps your ring is a little small
you could be right, but the ring sizes are a quarter inch apart. 2" is way too big and i fall out of it, 1.75" and Chafing. Might also be the space between the ring and the cage being a little too short. But I can't fix that either so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Welcome lockedtoserve! With patience and adequate time for healing in between, the body will eventually adapt to the smaller ring. When in doubt keep it as small as possible
