Hi people, So I put on my Cellmate 2 yesterday and set it for a 10 day solo. However, there is a problem with the app. It is only counting down when I have the app open. As you can probably work out, I only have the app open for a few minutes at a time, which means that I’m going to be locked for about 1,440 days. Help will never be appreciated this much…..
sounds like you are about to eperience long term submission. Sorry man wish I could help on this one but have no experience with the device. Maybe call the compay? If not change the setting on the phone and find a way from keeping the app from sleeping while not in use?
No experience here either…but check your settings to see if the app can refresh in the background. On an iPhone it’s under settings>general. Typically this needs to be on for the individual app in order for it to work when not in direct use.
Right, I’ve sorted it. It’s been a long day with work, and this weighing on my mind all day, but after a few messages with the app provider, they recommended I reinstall the app. This has done the trick. I have to say though, part of me was panicking, and part of me was soaking up the real fact of total submission. These Cellmate devices, if set correctly, are truly inescapable without heavy tooling and damage. I bought it a few months ago, and had until now, only worn it 4 hours or so. it’s very comfortable.
