i still haven't received a confirmation email. Vinny was great to offer suggestions, which I followed, but no luck.

The email I entered is correct, nothing in my spam folder etc. I even shut off spam filters!!

    Any thoughts??

Too add to what @Vinny said, auto fill is your enemy in these cases.

I fix these kind of things for a living. No emails from a client all of a sudden, only to trace it back to a bad server along the route from them to us. My company cannot afford to have a problem for long so I have to always come up with hacks and workarounds. Here is what you should do. Open a free gmail account. Takes a few minutes. Then have the email sent to that and you can delete the account when done. Better yet you can keep the account active under a false name and use it when needed. I set up a rule to send all email addressed to my gmail account into the Trash. When I am expecting an email to that address I simple log in and check my Trash folder. I use that account when there are privacy concerns or a good chance of getting spam or unsolicited emails. I also use it for annoy places that insist on emailing you a notice for every comment made to a post.

Sometimes it is not worth the time and effort to find an isolated problem so a quick workaround is best. I also have magic powers. Whenever one of my staff tells me something is not working, it usually works when I watch them try to duplicate the problem. I have magic eyes or something. :)
