    Really this wasn't meant to be about me, and I should've known better. Willful ignorance is the way of the world.

    Truth be told I am not up to arguing with y'all. There is as much supporting evidence for both sides of this equation. We often see and hear what we let into our bubble, and accept any and all supporting narratives. Just look at DJT. Some are willing to blindly sacrifice, whether it be because they're fetishists, sadists, masocists, have penile hatred, don't care, or whatever.     Nobody on either side of this argument has anything resembling evidence. One case of a guy who can't get hard, but hasn't actually ruled out the most common causes doesn't count as evidence. And people who haven't experienced the same problem aren't proof of safety any more than George Burns was proof of the safety of smoking cigars.

    Did anyone pay any attention in their science classes?

    The trouble is that we won't know until there is some sort study, with control groups. Even then, a single study can be flawed.

    As always, you take your chances or play it safe. No sense in arguing.

    My feeling is that there probably is some correlation that will probably increase with peoplein tighter devices. But I'm not a real doctor. I just play one on CM.

    I did write quite a lengthy reply however I have deleted it. It's easy to misenterperate faceless, toneless words written on a forum particularly if you are also struggling with MH at the moment and I don't wish to cause you upset and I'm sure everyone else feels the same. I think like others you should go to the docs. Use this forum for help and advice and to not get yourself wound up. All the best.

    In general I like Becks postings though I will agree that in this thead he is a pain in the ass ! Why ? Because feeling attacked by everyone and blindly hitting around does not suit anyone. And that is my impression in this thead.

    But in my oppinion it was not Beck, but Elfman who shot the bird ! Telling someone to shut up, because unpleasent experiences are nothing you like to read ? Really ???
    A white washed board would be worth nothing. In fact it cause harm by giving wrong implications.
    Even were Beck a 1 out of a million case others could do worse than acknowledge even such a small risks....

    Folks taking about going to the doc have a point. Some diseases don't show their ugly head until it is too late. ED is a combo mental and vascular problem. The arteries down below are fairly small and a narrowing of said arteries can contribute/cause ED. Now you add a cage, disuse atrophy, mentally getting screwed and possible CAD and guess what you get. CAD doesn't always give you obvious warnings ( think Jim Fixx) but it may be the combo of factors is giving Beck a sign. For those of you who engage in longer term lock ups be aware that you may be missing one of the first signs of CAD. I also agree with the other posting in that well controlled studies need to be done if you want to speak with authority. Anything else is supposition.

    To everyone else - This may or may not be something to do with wearing a chastity device but the chance that there may be a correlation is enough that we should keep it in mind.

    How would our world be if we had ignored information about chafing when it was first shared on here, or called bs? You lot would have very sore bits when you first started playing around with devices.

    Let's hope @Beck gets good news from the docs
