    Brexit has screwed any chance of any buyers paying in Pounds Sterling! The value of the pound has fallen off a cliff. I'm afraid I can't justify spending the time converting the measurements to something that makes sense to a European.

    Only the ones who thought changing bits of paper with pictures on for other bits of paper with pictures on made any difference. When the idea was first put forwards in the UK defiant fists were raised and shook vaguely in the direction of France. Take our pound? We didn't win the war to 'ave sum Johnny Foreigner come over here and pinch our money! It's got the queens head on it!

    These were the early shouts that ended up doing a brexit and screwing the UK for the next ten years. Me and the Mistress Wife are thinking New Zealand is looking good.

    By the way, the 'we' those shouty Brits meant was a very narrow we. It pretty much excluded all the Johnny Foreigners who also fought in the wars and contributed a huge amount to the effort that ended up creating the modern Europe in the first place. For some reason, maybe too many old propaganda war films, they think that Britain pretty much won the war single handed.

    Thing is, I have had the honour of standing in the chapel at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the officer training wing of the British forces. The walls are adorned with the insignia of a worldwide brotherhood.
