That said, we all started somewhere so glad you're on board. Ongoing behaviour management is really important, so some thought on how you can maintain his deference to you is key. No doubt he also has the 'novel' element on Day 1, don't rest on your laurels! If he comes across as initially compliant, then there is a good chance through good behaviour management, you could rewire hid neural pathways to ensure he only ever focuses on you and your needs and from that he gets his pleasure. i was going to suggest the holy trainer line, the design helps direct urination..
also, you can fined a wide variety of cages, plastic and metal that are inexpensive to help find the right size a and style,but dont go cheapest, its cheap because..
i also carry wet wipes with me, big help..

No fixed time I'd say. Some adapt more quickly than others. You will need to play it by ear, also experiment with various rings/spacers till you get the right fit. And in any case cb6000 is really only good for starters. I agree you should look to upgrade. Personally I prefer steel, MatureMetal is good but there are others. (Some need piercings) Look there and see what you think.

 

Best attitude to take IMO. You want and need max security. And an arrangement as wriggleproof as you can make it. If you can also tie up and control the vanilla aspects of your marriage too (various options here) better still.

As a few have mentioned already .. the Holy Trainer series is a great next step from the CBx series ... but really .... a piercing is the only real secure way to go ... but seriously .. baby steps .. and a piercing will take quite a few months to heal up before it can handle the weight of even the lightest devices available.

Welcome, @rottenspot! From our experience (34 yrs married but 5 yrs in FLR after dishonor on my part), I would suggest taking things as slowly as you can but within your firm control. Since you are only a few days into chastity, I would suggest letting him out, if only briefly for a cleaning and maybe a little reward (sex or a permitted wank come to mind) for good behavior and submission. (Think about Pavlov's dog!) Go a little longer each time for a while and pay no attention to his whining or begging. You are in control.

As for cages, IMHO having a tight fit around the balls is the most important aspect. I learned that having the shortest possible tube/cage around the penis, although it sounds restrictive, is actually the most comfy as it heads off those nasty & painful woodies very quickly when beginning to be aroused.

It is critical that you guide and improve the communications - for the sake of both of you! Long term, if there is a long term, will be very dependent on that, IMHO.
