Finally Starting with a Jail Bird

So, after years of discussions with my wife, she has finally come around enough to start the process. Maybe I’ll post more about that in another thread.

However, I did order and receive a Jail Bird back in the Spring. Due to COViD though, I couldn’t retrieve it from my PO Box until right before I moved this summer. Then we had to get through all the stress of the move and getting used to a new position at work. Finally, this weekend I have started to wear it.

I’m really high and tight (like really really), so I’m taking it slow. I’m using lube, but due to my anatomy, I get some skin pinching around the base ring because it bunches and folds that can burn some. Once I adjust, I’m ok though. I just try to add a little time each day and figure eventually I’ll make it through a day and then a night as my body adjusts to it. I want to be able to wear it indefinitely before I present the key to my wife.

The craftsmanship is amazing though and I’m very pleased. Thank you so much for the high quality product.

 

Thanks so much for the tip. I made it an extra hour yesterday to 5 hours. I was hoping to add about an hour a day until I could make it through all waking hours, but I’ll pick up some today and see if it helps me go even longer.

 

Thanks for the advice. I’ve made it 8 hours so far today with better lube. Were you that comfortable from the start or was there an adjustment period?

Again, thanks so much. I think I’m just feeling skin irritation as I get used to it, but if it doesn’t go away in a few weeks, I’ll get in touch with them. On another note, I do like that I my shaft is so secure and doesn’t move that I can barely tell it’s there. It also feels odd to have something more substantial between my legs. I’m not well endowed and I’m a grower, so it suddenly feels like there’s so much there.

 

I definitely got the cage diameter correct. It fits exactly like a glove soft. There’s an odd emotional comfort/security feeling from that physical feeling I didn’t expect.

 

While that is difficult, I have avoided it causing me much arousal. I have had to not read certain things here though. The arousal doesn’t hurt, it’s just considerably uncomfortable pressure. I’m hoping it’s just my skin getting used to it as it bunches and folds in places.

 

I think this might be the issue. The Base ring might be too big. It’s weird because I definitely could only get one finger tip in with the sizing ring, but with the oval metal ring I can get two in (facepalm).

That also makes sense. It feels specifically wider than I’m used to.

 

I’m happy to report that after consulting with Mature Metal, my jailbird is on the way back for some adjustment. As always, they are a pleasure to deal with and so very kind and professional. I’m so looking forward to getting it back and continuing on the journey. I also reconfirmed with my wife that she is still agreeable to holding the key and deciding when we have sex. She isn’t ready to “deny” me yet, but I would have to ask to be let out. It’s not perfect, but a HUGE step forward. I’m hoping she will see this is all about benefiting her.
