    Hello community,

Has anyone experiences from traveling with a locked steel or plastic device?
My KH and I think about going real permanent with my steel device but we are a little concerned about controls at the airport.
    Any recommendations or experiences?

If by permanent you mean not allowed to take off as opposed to sealed in place, then the easiest option is to wear a steel cage for everyday use and swap into a plastic cage for traveling. I'm locked 24/7 in a Queens Keep but when we travel by air I swap over to a cherry keeper with a small brass lock. I wear that for the duration of our trip and change back when we get home! Also swap if we are visiting anywhere that may require passing through a metal detector!

Before covid my wife and I flew to the Bahamas. She insisted I stay locked. I did set off the alarm at security. I told the guard that I was wearing body jewelery. They put me in the bigger scanner and then let me go to the gate.

My wife was quite amused the entire time

I'm of 2 minds on this.
First, chastity devices are just pro level sex toys. Wearing them through the airport/train/ship scanners is aggro, and there's no good reason to do so. Plus, if you're traveling to a smaller country, you don't know if they will confiscate it if itbis in your bags.

That said, when Mrs Edge and I visit family in the UK/EU, I leave the stainless steel A272 home and bring along the old plastic CB3000, and put it on after we get to our destination. I wear it for the duration then remove it before the flight home. She's not worried about me having a wank in the shuttle on the way to the airport.

So plastic is a solution, anyone more with steel cage experience? I do not like plastic that much...

Cherry keeper cages are 3 D printed so not like the hard plastic CB 6000 range. Steel cages are likely to trigger alarms at airports! Depending on "how you are" with such things, that may not be an issue. In Europe and the UK it's certainly not illegal. As long as you are prepared to explain why you set off the detector and if necessary to be taken aside for an inspection then it's fine. A lot of us here though would prefer to minimise the risk of involving people who are just going about their job in what is a personal "kink" really!

    Hi
Will the small barrel lock cause any issues trough a detector???
Otherwise it’s a full plastic with a plastic numberd padlock which I don’t really fancy

I've only travelled through European airports but certainly had no issues with with Greek, Spanish and UK detectors. The locks are really no larger than something like the stud on a pair of jeans! I have noticed (before Covid) that here in the UK full body scanners are becoming more common. So plastic, I believe would be seen, if indeed anyone was looking at that part of your body! Just a thought! We are after all not breaking any laws by being chaste.

The barrel lock has been fine for me flying domestically in the States, it's a very small piece of brass all told. everywhere I go through seems to be the full body scanner so I know the agent has seen something, but believe me, they've seen MUCH weirder.

Depends on the size of the PA. larger gauges do, I've seen them set off detectors before. But I'm sure some of the smaller gauges get through

I travel by plane (in non covid times) very frequently.
I am always locked. Usually I swap to a plastic device (with brass lock when it was the CBxxx and with barrell locks - Holytrainer and Evotion Orion with an extra barrel lock in the PA) and never had any problem with these, even with a titanium PA schakle.
I've also travelled with a Jailbird and my looker 03. These make a fuss and I had to go to a private stall and show them twice - no problem besides that - I was always told to have a nice trip.
I bought the Looker Titan, as I had read that titanium would not set the detector as it is a non magnetic metal... But it does!
Unless you travel to "non free" countries, you should not have a problem.

Ive travelled from the UK to the US while wearing the CB3000 with a plastic number lock. No issues at all but its like when you have sex toys in your luggage to check in and they dont question you or want to embarrass you. So you really have no idea if they know or not.

Travelling from state to state in the US i went through a tube style full scan, i had a little bottle of vape juice in my pocket thinking it was okay because it wasnt metal and wouldnt set off alarms. I got casually asked if i had anything in my pocket and thats when i wondered whether the scan shown my plastic chastity cage as well as the vape juice. But i didnt stay around :p.

I have to say, i am not bothered if i go through security and they know because i probably wont see them again. But i do pay attention to who i travel with and consider their feelings if i ever get stopped going through security. So i usually go through security 5 minutes ahead or queue separately.
