These are what I call the Munchausen Subs. They have no experience of the reality of being a sub so they deflect their own unrealistic fantasies on others, especially newbies asking for help and advice.

Munchausen dommes are thankfully much rarer, but they do exist - and not just as guys pretending.

 

i only just caught up with this thread and it's quite an interesting one.

CM takes a laissez faire attitude to postings in the forum. I can recall some very long threads of dubious reality where the people calling bullshit on the thread were the ones castigated by the previous owners of CM. It's a reasonable policy to not interfere, let the one-handed typists gorge themselves and everyone else passes on by.

It's more problematic when it comes to chat. There's probably no kink site around that has a chat facility where many female members don't disable it. It's a sad commentary on the maturity of males and I'm full of admiration for the tolerance of females that do stay in chat on the small chance that there's one or two males worth walking to.

I must admit that I tend to disable chat, too. Like others have mentioned in this thread, it doesn't take much chatting to know if the other person has really been there or not. I find it increasingly irksome to have someone trying to use another person as a means for a non-consensual jerk off.

 

I've not experienced this problem no doubt because I'm a new member and have only conversed in three chats or conversations [none were instigated by me and I wasn't in a chat room at the time]. However I can appreciate how disappointing and annoying a situation like this would be. Consequently it does not encourage me as a new member to approach or participate in conversations in the chat rooms if a fantasist deliberately tries to deceive a longstanding and experienced member like you purely to get a kick or to get his rocks off.

Whilst I appreciate this may be difficult to monitor or control it is somewhat disappointing as I have enjoyed reading and contributing [when allowed or instructed by wife] to numerous threads. As in life I suppose there will be always be a small minority who deliberately or intentionally spoil it if the majority.
