Well as purely suggestions Lucy, first I would unverify the Trans woman you approved. I know its not fair to her but we are talking compromise here and I'm sure the situation can be explained delicately. That would show for the time being that you are respecting the wishes of the males here who enjoy FemDom and the Verified Females who want their own safe zone that the current standard of suitable verification will be maintained.

I think you need to point out that everyone needs to have a certain degree of tolerance here and do their best to be polite even when they don't agree. And yes that includes me because I swear like a trooper sometimes when I lose my temper. Opinions and disagreement is always welcome but not when they come from a position of hate and turn into blatant abuse. That goes for every topic here. Being respectful to everyone is key, even if you don't like them, just keep that to yourself.

Politics unfortunately tends to be banned on most forums for the very reason it causes a lot of hate. So not sure what the best option is there.

There's some of the other things I mentioned like the gallery etc and maybe a Transgender section. That would help some Trans members find their place easier and feel the site is doing as much as it can to promote inclusiveness and diversity. I know you don't see it as bundled together as it stands but some members do.

How much you decide to do is down to you, it is your site.

 

There are so many people on my 'ignore' list I just see pages of posts from Lucy. That's an unfortunate statement about how fractured the user base has become. It takes a lot to land on my ignore list.

 

Surely not, it just takes someone to have a different opinion and be unafraid to express it.

 

Well in the interests of harmony on here I have unignored all the people I ignored recently. So that means I don't personally want any more of this friction between members. I really do hope this can be sorted because I love this site and there's some really great people here.

You know I actually agree with the last line of your logic. Why would anyone want to go and read something that is of no interest to them? I personally don't like golf but I don't go on golf sites or hang around golf courses complaining to them. I do something else that I prefer. Most people have the common sense to focus on what they like.

Because you disagreed with many things and claim you were tolerant, and have now picked something to be intolertant about, you think you get a pass.

Also, sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming "la la la" at the top of your little lungs will only lead you to become even less tolerant of dissenting or alternate opinions.

This argument comes up a lot with respect to the trans issue and it really does, or should, make everyone stop and think about what it is that makes a human a woman.

We see practically every celebrity and politician avoiding the question of what it means to be a woman for fear of a trans-attack or worse being cancelled for not being a transphile.

No man, or woman, would exist without true, biolgical women...and we all know what means. If you get to celebtrate a birthday then it's because of a woman, not someone who merely identifies as a woman.

It's not hateful, it's not discrimination, it's just a truth. This isn't your mum telling your four yr old self "Oh sweetie, you can be anything you want". If that worked you'd probably be a dinosaur now.

Both of these are horses, but we all know that the two humans in the pantomine horse costume is not a horse, and it doesn't matter how much grass they eat nor whether they wear a saddle and spend time in a field, nor does it matter whether they demand that everyone uses their horse pronouns.

So all @JaySaysYes needs to do is at least put in an attempt - maybe put on a nice wig and fix his makeup and shave with a cute little dress - and in your world that would permit him to go into a woman's bathroom or locker room, hard stop?

What about the women who don't feel comfortable with @JaySaysYes walking around in their bathroom?

Listen, I am not saying that this issue is not difficult for true transwomen, b/c I am sure that it is, but all of your rhetoric continues to be completely tone deaf to the issue that many women feel threatened by all of this. I have yet to hear you acknowledge that women may not want a penis-owner in places where they feel especially exposed and you haven't offered any valid solution other than require them to make a little more effort in how they present.
