@Sublifter49 you should make more of those and sell them. I'd buy one.

If you have the ability to put a chastity cage on, and a few basic tools, you have the ability to make a secure key holder..

    • Get a short piece of copper plumbing tube, a little longer than the key you need to secure, and a large enough diameter to fit the key inside.
    • sandwich the key between two small pieces of thick corrugated cardboard.
    • put the key and cardboard into the tube, and using a hammer on a hard surface (or a vice), squash it flat. (you can use a tube of slightly smaller diameter than the width of the key if you squash the pipe a little before putting the key inside)
    • If you hammered it a little too hard and you can't get the key out, simply put the tube and key into water, when the cardboard is wet it will disintegrate and you'll easily get the key out
    • place the key over the now flat tube and mark where the key ring hole is, and drill a hole at that point through the tube.
    • Now you can simply slide the key inside the tube, and secure it with a plastic security tag.
Alternatively, any small container that can have two holes drilled in it to secure the closure can be used. for example, a small plastic drinks bottle or pill bottle could have two holes drilled through the closed screw cap to secure it.

Discussion had and I have decided that I still want a small box. After research we are going to use a tic tac box with a hole drilled through for a plastic tag.

we used an emergency key in the beginning one day she asked me how many times I had used the em key over the previous months and I hadn't needed it at all...thats when we started leaving it at home for a day or so at a time , then that turned into a week after awhile she kept it cause there was no need for me to have it when I was in it

No key, don’t believe in it. I’m a truck driver so once I leave the house I’m locked till I get home.

My sub is getting a new cage and I've been mulling over the idea of a key box, the kind with a combination lock. He sets the combination without looking and sends me a picture; I keep the combination until I'm ready to unlock him. There is an element of trust in it but that's part of the game.

    Emergency preparedness is entirely unnecessary.

    Until you have an emergency.

We have one key in a metal tube too. It's on her nightstand.
And one of that nice fingerprint & bluetooth smart locks. Currently, only her fingerprint is registered. We do not need the remote opening function.
In principle, however, this is also possible, either as a permanent option (with tracking of use) or with a one-time password.
And these locks are not expensive either!

We keep a combination lock box with all our toys in, kept away from prying young eyes. There is a stick on hook inside with the key on and only she has the combination to the box. I do keep an Emergancy key on my person but this was put through a laminator before being cut to the size of a credit card and placed in the wallet.

The main cage key is my wife's favorite piece of jewelry, she always wears it on a chain around her neck.
The spare key lies in a pencil case, sealed with a numbered plastic lock inside a safe with a digital lock. The code for the safe is known only to her.

I have an emergency key in my wallet in case I need to unlock it while im out, but so far I've only used to once. Never have the urge to remove it while im outside as i get pretty comfortable with this cage.

Have loads of backup keys and locks at home though. Bought a bunch of cages to try out and ended up throwing away a lot of them since they're not fitting or comfortable at all. Kept the lock and keys just in case.

Still looking for a keyholder to send a bunch of keys to.

During this lock up we haven't used an emergency key because our current arrangement is that IF I'm going to be let out, it's only with Her permission and She will hand me the key.

That said, in times past and IF She deemed it necessary that I carry a spare key, I used something like this https://keyring.com/velcro-pouch-key-hider-large/ velcro key pouch to hold the key. When the flap is closed, I drilled a hole through the flap and through the pouch, and then we put one of those plastic numbered chastity key locks through the flap and pouch. This basically sealed the key in the pouch with the only way of removal is to remove the numbered lock, which she would notice.

I never needed to use it, but back in the day, Wifey worked full-time and there were definitely times when we were apart for several days, so it was a bit of a comfort knowing it was there.

Interestingly, we never needed it! ;)

I use a kitchen safe, ...which always stays at home. All keys are locked inside for 10 days (or more if I remove the batteries) at a time. In an emergency, I suppose I could destroy the safe (it's plastic) to get the keys.

No emergency keys here, my wife keeps both of the keys to our lori's in a safe deposit box that only she has access to at a bank that only she knows which one it is.

There are 4 keys for the lock, standard number for us. One is kept on a chain around my wife's neck at al times, a constant reminder of who is in charge. The second is in her office safe, I don't have the combination. There are 2 emergency keys, one is in my wallet in a sealed mini envelop with her initials written on the seal. The second is in our kitchen cabinet in a glued screw lid jar and the only way to open it is to smash it open. As explained to me, unless I am going to die don't open them.

I’ve never had access to the key, even from day 1. That seemed to defeat the whole “she’s in control” aspect of it.

After reading this thread I decided I don't need my emergency key as readily available as it has been. So I sealed it with the work laminator, and sent this picture to Mrs Jah. Keep it simple, keep it safe.

You could always lock a one-time use numbered luggage tag through the ring hole on the key ... that would make it pretty obvious if you opened and later tried to re-laminate the key.

My thought is that the random shape of air pockets around the key, where the laminator couldn't press would be impossible to replicate exactly. So I believe it is unique, and Mrs Jah has a photo of it. She laughed so much when I called her and said look at your messages.

Another way to make it tamper proof is to put some pubic hairs (yours or hers) inside the laminate across the key. Then take a photograph to preserve their configuration for comparision later. Because they would be disturbed to access the key it will be impossible to open and reseal a lamination and keep them in the same layout.

It would also make it very personal to have a couple of hairs enclosed from each of you, not obvious if anyone did see the key but relevant to you.

Yea, but the whole idea of a loving couple letting one deny the other sex is amusing to start with, isn't it? We can enjoy our kink and still add layers of enjoyment on top.

Eeewwww! Is what my wife would say. I think that's very funny though. I did think that I could get her to sign a piece of card, and laminate that with the key to personalise it.

Or ask her to write a motto, "stay strong" or something like that.

Mine would say "Have you done the list of jobs?"
    Which reminds me...
