    Hello from Colorado,

I have just discovered this sit to help educate myself on the finer points of chastity training. My slave and I are considering the CB3000.

I have been playing d's over ten years and my sub is eager and willing to undergo training, and I am equally eager to harness and lock him up. We are both new to this form of play, but very eager.

I look forward to learning new techniques and making new friends!

    Sincerely,
    Eager Mistress

Cb3000 or 6000 are fine for starters as they fit (nearly) all sizes.

But I'd be looking to upgrade to something steel (maybe MM) down the line.

Why steal?? Concealment for work purposes is a main concern and most metal pieces look so bulky.....

Personally, I don't think the huge expense of steel is necessary (although, perhaps for some people, it is). I have a CB6000S which works flawlessly, is very practical, and is very secure.
Plus, my wife and I both prefer the look of it over a bulky steel belt.

This probably isn't the place to ask this, BUT - I'f I'm gonna spend the money, what's the difference between the 3000 and 6000 models??

The 6000 is the much improved version over the original 3000. I've had both and the 6000 is definitely the way to go.

I find the plastic CB devices at least twice as bulky as the steel models we've tried. The spacer pins need to be thick so they won't break, and the main ring is much thicker, which makes it tougher for me to sleep in, and it even kind of makes me stick out a little funny in tighter pants. If bulk is your main concern, might I recommend something like this:

    http://www.ebay.com/...1#ht_927wt_1081

I'm wearing one of those right now (without the catheter part) while my Mature Metal cage is away for minor adjustments. The hinge and ring take some getting used to, but I completely forget it's on (unless I'm turned on, in which case it's deviously tight) and it's not noticeable at all under my clothing. I can even wear it to the gym under standard Champion gym shorts and nobody's ever noticed anything. It's good to wear underwear with support and tuck the lock a bit, but that's certainly not a problem plastic will help you avoid. I got my first two steel devices and a CB6000 on ebay for about $25 -$30 a piece, which turned out to be a great way to try several devices and learn what worked well for me without spending a ton of money. Then once we saw the value in something custom made, we invested in a Mature Metal cage.

Where abouts are you in CO? We live just outside of Denver and I don't think we'll ever use the CB6000 again... If you don't mind a very barely used device, I'd sell it cheap and we might even be able to avoid shipping. I need to check with my wonderful keyholder first of course. These cages are hers, just like the contents of the one I'm wearing. Let me know if you're interested and I'll be happy to ask her.

I can't edit my first post it seems, but here's the actual ebay supplier I used and I have nothing but positive feedback for him. http://stores.ebay.c...ndarbeitfactory

Here's the one I bought (like the one above but without a catheter): http://www.ebay.com/...9#ht_784wt_1141

We also got one of these: http://www.ebay.com/...4#ht_764wt_1141

I got that one WITH the detachable catheter, but it's too bulky and with the catheter attached it's basically so uncomfortable it's not wearable for any kind of extended period. Se can use it to torment me but either of us is going to get any sleep, I always go back in the small one or the Mature Metal. For the record, I'm about average size, 5 to 6 inches or so. It's amazing how small a cage you can fit into with patience when you're not at attention, and I find the closer the fit the more comfortable. The bigger one twists around as I sleep and has too much weight in general.

    I'm with ex Mr Bader.

Some metal devices are even less bulky than cb3000 etc. Especially Lori; and also the MM with integrated screws. Both avoid the need for padlocks and so conceal easily.

But between 3000 a 6000, yes I think 6k is an improvement, and probably best for starters.

I also agree that steel is better, however you have to be exact qith measurement.

CBXXXX series are a good entry level in chastity play however, Having different ring size and spacers allows you to try various sizes until you find the right fit.

On the long run steel is the way to go, MM or Steelworxx are good devices.
