It depends on who would be doing the edging. If you are unlocking yourself and edging yourself I would say do not do it leave it alone with no edging will get you the most frustrated. If someone else is unlocking and edging then locking you back up both ways will be frustrating.
I think edging yourself is most likely to make you feel more hornier and frustrated as there is the massive temptation to complete the job. Leave well alone.
