my Mistress acquired a new device for me recently from Mature Metal. She ordered the device with dual recessed security screws, a hole for a serial numbered plastic lock and the double base ring. Fit is perfect and very secure. Since the screws are countersunk once tightened they do not loosen. MM advised it is their very first dual screw device. my long term long term lock up just started last week. i will keep you updated.
Pics or it didn’t happen. ...Just kidding... When you ever get out of the device, a SFW photo of this would be informative. I’m wondering how much more length it took to fit two threaded holes and a security seal hole. Good luck on your long term lock up! You’re doubly screwed!
I too am curious as to how long the post is, and whether it makes the device more or less noticeable. I suppose it kind of depends on how long the cage is. Do both screws have the same key, or two different keys? Both of my MM devices are countersunk, and the security improvement is so high that I’m wondering why MM just doesn’t make countersinking standard. They don’t even mention the option on the site. I learned about the option on a Fetlife forum.
The post is about an 1 1/8" long. The screws are 5/16" apart. One screw is threaded on the left and the other on the right. my device still conceals well under clothing. my cage is 1 1/4" long x 1 1/8" wide. MM also extended the sleeve on the cage to conceal the entire locking post for added security. The double base ring fits perfect just enough slack to prevent an issue and tight to the body to prevent the use of any tools. The device is also tight enough to prevent me from pulling out the back. The device is very secure. my Mistress wanted to ensure it would be very difficult for me to remove my Jailbird just in case i had a weak moment while unsupervised. i will send photos as soon as possible.
Very interested in seeing. I don’t have a Mature Metal yet but it has been talked about for the near future.
yes, please post a photo of the double screws. i am in the process of ordering a Jail Bird in the next week and would like to better understand this option.
I forgot to ask - Does the same key work on both screws? or does each screw have a different key? I also have two holes on my Jailbird - one is a for a recessed security screw. I also have the double ring - love it. I'm not able to visualize the extended sleeve. I would love to see a picture.
Hate the locking screws...not sure why they dont inovate and use a magic locker or something that is better or easier removed. Love the jailbird but hate the locking method.
