Future plans for The Mansion

1. More guidance to newcomers - The mountain is high in the beginning and guidance for males and females is crucial. Some layout and feature changes will have to be implemented to support better guidance.
2. More structured information, and reviews - Why not get it from the experts - our users?
3. Better support for mobile devices - More and more traffic is generated by mobiles and tablets
4. More obvious and better enforced policies to preserve this as the clean "Google of Chastity"
5. Pro-active actions from the staff to keep this place friendly and free from fractioning and bad mouthing.
6. Active soliciting for more members - through various upcoming activities.

Why is donations needed at all?

Expenses

CM runs on dedicated servers, and the forum software is much more than a single Xenforo license. There is add-ons that gives extra functionality that we all have come to love. Even more will come to light and to the benefit of all

1. I have paid a considerable sum - the size of it I will not disclose - but a sum for having the responsibility for holding this non-profit generating site in the air...
   
2. The server fee on the dedicated server at wired tree.com is right now 70 dollars a month. I like to look into this. We might get it cheaper, but it seems as if some if it is support fees...., so it is not black or white....
   
3. The domain is 27.90 dollars a year
   
4. The Xenforo software license needed renewal- ( 200 dollars - one time fee- until next time (!))
   
5. All of the current Xenforo add-ons that has been installed on the CM installation is approx 45 dollars a month in subscription - to keep us updated.
   
6. The server load indicates peak hours above 95 % - 110 % server load. Number of active users is on display on site for all to see. It varies...
   
7. The user base is plus 25000, out of them approx. 2200 is truly active from within reasonable timeframe. right now. We get like 60 new subscribers a day - and like 2 drop outs. I have rot pay for storage for phoo galleries and such for all of these users.
   
8. I will soon install a new add-ons: among others a new mobile chat function - heavily requested by many. It will cost me like 70 dollars and 10 dollars in monthly subscription.
   
   
   There you go! Plenty of good reasons to chip in a donation from time to time

You don't need to have a PayPal account to donate. Just follow the procedure and when You are in the paypal window , select the option of paying with a credit card. Remember Your payment will just be listed as payment to "C M" From the Company "Forum"

 

And If You like You can now set a recurrent donation every month - thats a winner, - right? ;-)
As You will find on the updated donation list, I have received generous donations in september, that helped me to cover the fees and also some "small" surprises that occurred during the transition from former ownership... Thank You all!
