Day six of my first try at this and already it's been more if a journey than I ever thought that it could be.

My gf locked my new cage (5.5 inch, steel) right before leaving on a business trip - and there I was, wondering whether this was for me - and whether I could go the 5 days before she got back without heading to the safe and ripping open the emergency escape envelope she's left there.

Day 6 and the gf is home. But says nothing. Not a word. Well not about me and the cage and how it went or how we might negotiate release. Instead we head to the pool, where I see my boss - and hope that he doesn't hear the clanking of lock against cage (to me it seems like the bells of Notre Dame) - nothing is said, I think nothing noticed. And now we're home. GF is in bed, sleeping off jet lag. I'm here writing to you guys...
