I bought one like this off eBay thinking how bad can it be? The mechanical fit together on mine is very sloppy. It’s also massive. Perhaps OK for a little bedroom play but by no means a serious chastity device.
Same here. I also feel the pull out spikes are merely cruel and a bit dangerous. But the best thing to do is run your finger around on the inside surface and ensure there’s no sharp edges or pointy weld points.
From my experience, it needs to be a really snug fit- especially around the base of the penis. The base ring also needs to be perfectly sized. I always wondered how a mm or two could make a difference but it does! Have a look at my recent post called Hybird Cage
I have two similar cages to this (without the spikes - ouch!). Through ebay, but they all seem to come from the same supplier in China. Pics on my profile. The tube one is surprisingly well made for the money and the fit of the two parts is excellent. The ring style one is a more sloppy fit, disappointing but the style didn't really suit me anyway. The cheaper cages seem to be pays-your-money-and-takes-your-chance, but certainly good for experimenting with style and fit. Didn't find any rough edges on either of mine, but still gave the insides a polish with a dremel and wire brush wheel just in case.
I found the flat rings to be a bit uncomfortable against the sensitive skin. The one that have the rounded material for rings usually come better polished, and being round, doesn't use a square edge into you. I had 2 like this one, minus the spikes, and not able to wear them.
I've used this cage for over 2 yrs without the spikes. Love love love the back ring, and small tight fit works for active life.
