It's counter-intuitive to think that chastity would make you less horny so I'd be inclined to get a medical checkup.

 

Did you have any period of time where you persisted wearing the cage through extreme hard-on? That did it for me. The old fella was completely out of action for a week. Nothing would spark any feeling or movement. I admit I was scared because I didn't want that to be it. It took a number of weeks to get back to a level of "normal". The doc said the tendon that instigates the hard on had been injured. Maybe go uncaged for a week or two and give it a chance - in case it needs healing?

I periodically feel similar, in waves of feeling tuned into sex and then feeling nothing - it's been over 6 months since I orgasmed, and I last time the key was in the lock was 5+ weeks ago.

 

I am not a psychologist, but my gut tells me that you are experiencing symptoms of porn / masturbation withdrawal.

 

This tbh. I stopped watching porn habitually recently (been a just over a month now) and also stopped masturbating in the same way (now I vary the hand used, sometimes the fleshlight, sometimes a vibe) and I have to say I feel a lot more "healthy" than I did.

Its amazing how effective porn and regular habitual masturbation to that porn are in conditioning your brain. It's pavlovian, and documented. Google "delayed ejaculation".

 

I have to say, I don't like porn. IMO, the story lines are stoopid, the acting is unbelievable, the dialog is trite. And the action itself is boring.

I enjoy looking at erotic stills (ie, pictures) and making up scenes in my head. Hell, more often than not I'm making things up in my head anyway. I honestly do not understand how anyone can look at modern porn and maintain an erection.

I grew up in the pre-internet era, and I learned to read at an early age. I have an active imagination. Those little captioned pictures that I do? Those are all from little scenes in my head.

This is not to insult anyone else who is into it; obviously porn is a huge business and bazillion of people are consuming it. I just do not get enough enjoyment out of it to develop any kind of habit.

 

That sounds like you are describing the type of porn that you might see on Showtime at 2am. I think most folks who watch porn these days are just going to porn sites on the web where most of the videos are amateur and there's little to no acting or dialog, it's just various forms of sex. Of course, the ones that do try to act are even worse than the professional porn, lol.

I have visited Pornhub and Redtube and Youporn and all those other sites. I tended to look for femdom related material, which may have been a factor. I don't care for degradation or humiliation, which cuts out 90% of femdom material. And plain, straight fucking is boring for me to watch; I didn't care to see people doing what I had already been doing.
