Danish people not having sex

Lol! - Well the story is about low birth rates, - and that is a fact!
Danes not having sex - Well... if the story was about males senses less when they do it, I could go for that;-) - but otherwise I would say dead wrong. One of the key pints in this lifestyle change has been a significant increase in my wife's libido. Mine has never been an issue, - to the contrary!, but this permanent denial has cured all of that...
As I stated elsewhere: I have discovered that my manhood is not in my dick.....

 

Haha - well it might not be in your dick, but at this rate it certainly wont be shared with any off-spring! Maybe this is Denmark's real birth-rate problem? Someone should do a little explaining to that holiday firm....

 

Falling birth rates in Western societies IMO has more to do with the silent war that has been going between men and women, where with the proliferation of porn and more open sexually relationships compared to past generations men are opting out and women are waiting. It has been recognized since the early part of the 2000's; however, it appears to be accelerating. For women that have desires for the traditional families and kids ... it isn't going to be pretty.

 

I heard an opinion that the decline in the US birth is due to economics: fewer young people can afford children. I feel there's also a shift in Women's attitudes towards men that's changing the traditional notions of marriage.

 

Women wants better men. And women can do by themselves. They do not want to build a family with lazy sloppy males from the local pub anymore. They are more educated, more sophisticated, more demanding of life, and of men...
It all postpones the settling of a family... However it does not mean that women has less sex. Some have more, and on their terms, fulfilling their needs.
Less educated men, from the local pub are stocked with internet porn in solitude....

The last 7 years, I am sure has had an effect, and I think it is multi-factor. Marriage rates for the key demgraphic (25-34) is 28% versus 61%. Couple that with the majority of colleges have female to male ratios where women are far greater (i.e. 55-60%) [kudos to them professionally], and the large drop off in male particpation in labour, it is creating a very large imbalance in the requirements needed for reproduction.

Stagnant wages, increases in costs in everything (including health care), coupled with overturned expectations due to better equality between the sexes; have led to confusion. Not to say this is a good thing or provide excuses but alot has to do with the abandonment of boys in education, no real male role models, the heavy prevalence of porn and other entertainment options, which focuses guys on non-relational focused activities, and then couple it with society's focus that guys are lazy, buffons, and for those that do attempt to have relationships the brutal-ness of the courts based upon 1950's standards ... it makes it so the male sex sees at best limited benefit in building long-term relationship and have opted out compeltely.

If you read the article you can see this in the statements that there are no men looking for relationships, and in a preverse twist where women are even more open, guys in the Gen Y an Z eras would rather pound one out then do the dance. I hope that @ladylionzsissy nzsissy is right, because if I see what I predict as a further downward spiral, we will see an even larger drop in birth rates since Gen X women will not be viable reporductively, the women of Gen Y will be soaked up time wise trying to push a career since everyone has bills, and guys will do the bare minimum, and Gen Z is the full experiment where they are soaked up 100% with pure internet/virtual view.

Given the forum we are in .... of course I am sure male chastity would help big time in focusing the boys in better pursuits, but in reality self-motiviation would be better ... I wish I had answers ... but until folks in America and possibly other western countries (if what is happening in the US is in other countries), start to acknowledge that there is a serious problem ... solutions won't be able to be discussed / had. As stated earlier, I hope it is single faceted and I am wrong. Since the other aspect folks seem to miss out on is that birthing children later and later will show and add greater generic faults due to the drop in sperm and egg quality, and through the introduction of heavier chemicals to assist in pregnancy. Sorry for the deeper commentary, I just felt compelled to write this for some reason ....

 

+1 ... but from what I have seen through my travels is that a large majority of the guys just don't care, and they feel it isn't worth it. That is the most preverse thing standards for guys are going higher, and the main motivation lever of sex no longer has an effect due to porn and masturbation. I hope I am wrong, but I forsee alot of loneliness and bitterness coming. What interesting and wonky times we are living in.
