After a couple of cheap devices to find the best size and construction it was time for a custom device. I could never find a cage that had a loop or ring on the tip for attaching a leash or lock and chain. I saw a nice cage at etsy seller badassworkroom and send them a message asking if they could weld a loop/bridge between the two front bars and if the gapsize was custom. Within a few minutes they answered that the gapsize was made to request and asked if I could send a drawing. I responded with this picture:
    icm_150x150.316387819_tai772ydef4wkw4cwgsw.jpg

Within a few minutes they responded "OK no problem"
So I ordered the device with comment:
"chastity cage full length 60mm penis tube inner diameter 30mm base ring inner diameter 40mm Gap size 6mm Please add bridge as we discussed in mail."
After 2 and a half weeks this arrived:

I'm very happy with the results. Wearing it for about a week and it's really comfy.

I've had very good luck with them as well for a custom cage - very reasonable pricing and fast turnaround. The latter may be more meaningful these days as I see other vendors are taking longer to turn things around.

I contacted Youming via Etsy contact/chat and he responded within 12 hours (he's China based). I don't recall seeing a direct email though.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/badassworkroom then the contact shop owner link.

Can I ask what the quality is like , is it engineered to a tight tolerance? I love my Chinese cage but it has a lose fit where the cage slides into the ring , maybe about .5-1mm but it pinches . I have ordered a Lori's cage but have no idea when or if I will ever receive it due to current production problems

I ended up abandoning my second purchase due to a mistake with the order, just before he went on holidays. I decided that I didn't want three rings, in addition to one potentially unused cage. I'm not sure if there is a market for used Etsy devices. But I won't rule out possibly putting the initial one up for sale.

The customisation without the additional cost like with MM devices is not a bad thing. And apparently, one can now customise the width of the bars in the device as well.

But, has anyone with a reasonable girth ordered a cage that is just slightly tighter than the former? I have a feeling that 30mm is too wide when flacid. There is a huge difference between both, which makes it awkward. The current 31mm girth is not tight at all unfortunately. The problem is that once it's built, it's mine regardless of whether it fits properly or not.

Edit: Be sure to make it clear to him about the reason behind all the questions, and he'll be more likely to persist with the convo. And to clarify, direct message via Etsy is the best way to contact him.

I had the same problem with the cheap devices with integral lock. But the one from badassworkroom has zero play and closes perfectly. One time I had a hair stuck after sliding the two parts together, thats how tight the tolerance is. You don't have to wiggle and push to get the lock in. There are no sharp edges and we like the brushed matt finish. They use there own kind of integral lock. It's stainless and a little bigger than the brass one used by everyone else.

Me too. It's still long and the downside is that you cannot buy a beautifully made silver key with standard lock but they are out of my budget at the moment anyway.

Thanks . Certainly looks good value compared to other bespoke devices . I've paid close to that for my htv2 with extra ring . Think I even paid well over £100 for a cb3000 about 16-17 yrs ago .

If I am correct this is a version of the
"Prevent Glans Exposed Customizable Chastity Cage Stainless Steel Cock Cage BA-21".

    @Gonzo
Are you wearing this with foreskin or are you circumcised?

How is your experience with this extra skinprotection at the front?

You are correct. It's the BA-21 with added loop by my request.
I don't have foreskin because of a birth defect (long story).
I chose the extra close front for two reasons. Thirst I like the more closed front cages because of less arousel when filling the cage. Second it's safer to attach a lock to the front loop without pinching or cutting the head.
I can't feel my underwear on the head like with the more open cages so I think it can be very helpful for someone with a lot of foreskin.
Downside for me is messy peeing.

Just found out that they have added the option to make it in titanium. Very curious how much lighter it would be.

Beware if getting one with a pa prong. My device had a prong that was designed like they don’t know what it’s like to be pierced. The part going up from underside is way too tall, then the angle where it curves to go out is so sharp that it physically hurts just to wear it.

Rest of the device is solid and fit great, just the prong wasn’t designed well. Tried to bend it but it’s such a tight angle that I would have to hammer it then it would be too rough to use. Might try heating it with a torch, but again, will probably ruin it trying to fix it.

    Badass

reasonable quality work at reasonable prices

but I don't think they have any staff that have ever had a PA

Their PA 'rod' gave me complications.. be very careful and if you have one with a PA attachment check it once or twice daily for at least a month
