I have just started making custom barcode rings based on slave registry numbers.Currently Im doing metal ones but I have been developing a plastic version that would come in much cheaper I thought it might be something you may be interested in? Thrilling idea! Is there a limit to the number of text characters? Can smartphone barcode scanners read any of this info?
Hiya Thank you I thought so too lol I think there is space for about 20 characters but it depends on the size of the ring and the arrangement of the charcters My phone doesnt scan so I havent tried that but it is a faithful copy of the barcode. Maybe the contrast wouldnt be there to pick it up I will have to try that out Miss BB
Hi Just a quick update..... I still havent tried the smartphone thing but... I have discovered that you can ink them with a pad and they leave a really cool barcode impression x
