I am currently leaning towards getting myself a My-Steel Transformation belt, but this question applies to any belt that offers a crotch band. I really like the full crotch band, but I’m not even sure if it’s feasible to wear long term comfort wise. I know for certain activities, like working out, a cable is supposedly better, but I’m not worried about that as I’m okay with taking it off when I need to. Mostly, what’s it like to sit, sleep, and just go about your day with a crotch band?

I've had a couple "sports" models belts (g-string like design).

Neosteel has a fixed metal band between the legs with no side to side movement.

FancySteel has a metal cable between the legs with some flex and side to side movement (can pivot a bit at the back as you body moves).

Both are great to sleep in. Much easier than a ball strap device to get used to.

Sitting for long periods can be a bit uncomfortable. The front shield tends to get pushed up, pushing the tube up, which can cause a sore spot under your penis. Penis trap devices are better for sitting.

I've worked out in both belts with the same results -
    • Jogging is OK.
    • Bike riding causes upward pressure and you spend a lot of time standing on the pedals.
    • Swimming is fine.
    • Weights there's no impact.
    • Martial arts I'm always unlocked for.
Normally I request an unlock for exercise regardless of the device, its just a better work out.

Thanks for the information! I’m still very new to some of this stuff so I’m not super familiar with some of the terminology. By “penis trap” does that just mean a standalone cage? Also, it wasn’t clear to me if you meant that you have experience with belts which have a continuous band. Do you?

Sorry, typo. I meant ball trap device.

Yep, the Neosteel belt is a continuous steel band (shemale model).

I’m considering the same also looked at neosteel. Still the normal day stuff would it interfere for long term wear.
