By just looking at the HT and the knockoffs, it sort of freaks me out regarding the semi-triangular edge at the back of the device. From what I can tell, the base ring would be up against the skin, so surely the end of the plastic cage only has one place to go. Is this really perfection in design? Is this comfortable to wear for any extended period? I am not trying to defame or badmouth the device, but I thought I'd be straight forward with my query. I noticed this annoyance when I tried on the Rikers device (sort of similar to what's pictured but slightly longer), and had an intention to go to sleep in it, but the plastic digging into my skin wasn't something that I found to be all that pleasant, and didn't want to risk waking up with leftovers. Here's an example of what I mean. It looks very peculiar to me. No offence.
I have the V3 knockoff, I may not buy another it is so comfortable. No issues with clothing and once you are use to wearing it you almost forget it is there, until you need to pee or get aroused..... The plastic at the end of the tube rests on my pubic bone almost feeling like a safety cup for baseball.
Even though I am wearing the HT V3 small just the second day/night now, I‘d like to say this is by far the most comfortable ball-trap-type device I‘ve ever tried. The end of the cage is quite well rounded and I can not see any issue there.
I've had issues with it if you're wearing panties. It will press into you. The time when it's not uncomfortable is if the penis is in a downward oriented position without pressure pushing in on you.
The HT was very comfortable but unfortunately it broke after the warranty was over it split at the seam by the integrated lock
@Lockedloser : I understood that the V3 has been reinforced compared to the V2, especially around the lock. So I hope it will not break - we‘ll see. @Sisschun : I know what you mean. Did have the same with the CB6ks as well. With thight fitting slips & pants, mostly. Guess that‘s something hard to avoid with this type of design...?
Mine is a HT NUB knockoff and the first day I wore it I spent quite some time sitting while wearing it and that rear projection dug into me intensely. I was resolved that in the morning I would lock into another device while I trimmed some off that part. To my surprise, when I woke the next morning my skin above the shaft had created a little “pocket” and the projection has disappeared and is no longer a problem. I’m finding it extremely comfortable. As I said already in another post I did have to reshape the ring as it originally left absolutely no ball room and completely cut off circulation. I don’t intend to remove it until it has been on for at least a week. Peeing can be a problem. This morning, even though I was sitting down (as it seems is the lot of the captive) it shot out straight, between the seat and the bowl and went all over my jeans and the floor. Need to make sure it’s pushed down. All in all super comfy.
That little extension fits nicely along side the penis shaft inside the pubic mound. I'm not sure what the design intent was but it does help prevent pullout.
I have the holy trainer V2 knockoff it's more comfortable than the harder plastic known from CB series. Still very tight around the sack for my taste for sleeping so not buying it again. Glad I bought a knockoff so I don't waste a lot of money.
After a few days in the HT V3 now, I recognized that I do need a smaller ring... The 55mm Ring I ordered did fit very well when I put it on (last Sat.). But now already I can see that it‘s fit is too loose. Fo fairness I tend to favour buying from inventors so I did buy my HT V3 from the original manufacturer. But I hesitate to pay another big premium for a different sized ring. That‘s really a bit of a rip off... So I am looking for advice, which China-Dealer/-Manufacturer sells HT V3 Rings (or even complete HT V3‘s) with a comparable quality and accurate measurements (so that the Ring fits my original tube)? I have worn the HT2 steel knock off. The V is annoying but I found not really an issue. We abandoned that cage for other reasons .... and we were starting to suspect that it was not 615 Stainless Steel
I also happen to have a HT V2 Steel version but do not use it any more. It turned out to be to small for me for longer term wear.
I am wearing a Holytrainer without any major issues. My main concern would be the lack of vent holes to allow easier cleaning. I also made a modification to the connection between the ring and the shaft portion to allow me to wear a stainless steel PA cable where the small lock is covered completely and is absolutely inaccessible without sacrificing the integrity of the device. Now I really did get what I wished for. My wife/keyholder absolutely LOVES this. I will post pics of the modification and what cable I used in a separate post when I have time.
