Hi everyone, We use a metal cage with a small standard chastity padlock, but was wondering if anyone has had success finding a combination lock that is small like the standard small padlock. Thank you!
Sure, back in the day (20+ years ago, our relationship was in a much different chastity phase) when I used to wear a cage that used a small padlock, we would use a small suitcase lock instead. Worked fine. Mostly. But if you get one, try to find one with a 4 digit code. At first we used a lock with a 3 digit code. I can tell you that it doesn't take long to cycle through all 1,000 combinations if you search for them every time you sit to pee. And if the first digit is a 1 or a 2, you can be out the same day pretty easily. Yes, I know, any lock can be defeated, but I found that these locks were just a bit too easy, so usually, if I really wanted to feel LOCKED, I had her use the padlock. So, yes, you can use them, but they're not ideal. If you can control yourself, however, they are a good way to stay locked and you can be unlocked with a simple text/email/call from your KeyHolder with the combination. Good Luck, ~subrick
Depending on the kind of locking interface you have, the 2cm standard lugguage lock works well but if you have one of the types where the lock has to fit close (e.g. a full belt design) search for one with a thin body no thicker than about 8mm
Those little luggage locks just help keep a suitcase zipped. With a little practice on how much tension to apply to the shackle while you spin the wheels, it's possible to open one in seconds. And even if you don't fancy yourself a lock picker, you can step through something less than 1000 combinations pretty quickly.
My wife and I use a red, heart shaped one that with the message "I love my wife" on it. She keeps both keys, one emergency key stays in an envelop that she signed on the flap so I can't just replace it... I'm only allowed to use it if case of emergency and I'm supposed to let her know right away.
Small combination locks are pretty useless. Better to keep a quality lock on the cage and the keys to that in a combination safe, either a decent electronic one with 8-12 digit combination and incorrect attempt lockout or a realtor key safe in your bag (and the other key somewhere safe).
ditto for this, use the best lock you can, I’ve found that master locks are by far the best quality, but the edges can be a bit sharp.
I found the travel locks to corrode quite quickly, I even had one corrode to the point my madam couldn’t open it, and she had to cut it off, if you do use them make sure you replace them quite regularly.
A few minutes with a Dremel type tool will take the sharpness off the edges, but it really is just a few, you can always take more metal off next week if it's still too sharp but you can't put it back if you mess it up.
I wrapped mine with a piece of electric tape to help with that and the clunking noise. I am amazed how long it is lasting. Maybe my body heat helps it stay stuck
