When I went in for my first, they specifically asked about "Body Jewelry". I was wearing my 4ga PA at the time, but not chastity device. They asked that I remove it. I think against the possibility that I'd end up needing x-rays or MRI for some reason. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funky reverse pliers you need to remove the captive ball. The nurse found a pair of normal pliers, and absented herself. I couldn't manage to get the thing off. I informed them, and we elected to proceed with the jewelry in. The nurse tried to act very professional, but I suspect she was surprised. Anyway, there were no further issues, but since then, I remove my PA jewelry at home, prior to any procedures.

Take off the chastity cage before you enter the clinic. You are only creating a potential obstacle to a successful procedure. And for what? The aneshetist, the doctor, and the nurse really don't care about your kinks. And they didn't express any interest in them beforehand.

I didn't think it was that bad, other than the constant going to the bathroom. For mine they told me to mix Miralax with Gatorade. Getting it all down was the worst. I was tired of drinking fluids.

 

When I had mine, my wife had me remove the cage before I even started the prep. Only after I got home after the procedure did I put the cage back on.

 

Since this is your first one I will give you some pointers.

First while cleaning out just drink until you poop clear. You do not need to do anymore.

Had a colonoscopy a few weeks back here in UK. I took mine off. To be honest Mrs Chaste likes me to wear my Cherry keeper these days (not metal) and in all honesty it would have been safe to have kept it on. I was given a pair of underpants to wear with a flap at the rear for access and was also wearing a gown. The hospital did as much as possible to preserve my modesty so the least I could do was not expose others to my kink unnecessarily. Mind you the minute I got home Mrs Chaste insisted that normal service was resumed!

Just because people in the medical profession have probably seen it all before, doesn't mean that they particularly want to see it again, so if it were me, I would show them some respect and remove it. Not quite sure why you'd want to turn a medical procedure into some sort of kink opportunity anyway. Surely your health is more important?

Taking off your wedding ring is a very common thing for such procedures and it doesn't make you unmarried. Just as taking off your cage won't make you unchaste.... unless you have a crafty wank, of course.

You can tell them about it beforehand and obtain their consent, but be prepared to accept any refusal graciously.

 

I find these discussions a bit funny. On one side I agree we shouldn’t force our kinks on others. On the other, a chastity cage, panties, painted nails, piercings, shaved bodies, and many of the things we worry about are not big deals. And as chastity, FLR and other lifestyles become more common people are becoming more accepting of them. Or at least tolerant of them.

I agree, it's not weird, just different. I'm a little old fashioned maybe in sharing personal things like this with others in "real life". Some of the fun for Mrs Chaste and myself is it's "our little secret". The fact that the strap on and various toys probably show up quite well when they X ray our cases as we jet off on holiday isn't a concern at all, or the fact that I'm still locked in the Cherry keeper. After all we are married, consenting adults and not breaking any rules!

Yeah that’s what they told me here in the U.K. was to mix it with some lemon squash and it was bearable and agree going to the toilet constantly wasn’t nice but it made it more bearable that we had enough room in the toilet to make up a little blow up camping bed
