Coconut oil and resin, yes?

    I love extra virgin coconut oil for use in play and upkeep.

    I have been shaving myself off/on since puberty, and of them all, the coconut oil works best (in my experience).
    It provides good lubrication that lasts, without pissing off my skin.
    It feels / smells good to apply and use.
    Makes a convenient lubricant to establish / maintain a "purposeful" erection (edging to keep the area taught).
    It leaves the area soft & smooth, very touchable, and makes me feel truly like a sexy bitch.

    All of this said, I know not all toys / devices are made equal.
    I know coconut oil is rated safe for (true) silicon / metal / glass, etc. toys.
    Is it safe for use with bio-resin (EG: what goes into Holy Trainer, etc.) cages?

    I have read that it works well for the Kink3D type cages (which is not resin, but another material).
    Likely to be my next cage purchase, for options, but for now I have HTv2 clones (which are resin).

    I use coconut oil with my knockoff resin device as well as my stainless with no damage to my devices. I love the smell and taste, I use it on my body as a moisturizer after shaving and liberally lube my clitty and testicles while caged. When I toy myself I always use a water base lube just incase, toys have gotten to expensive to ruin with the wrong lube.

    I've used coconut on various cages made of plastic (CB's, etc.), the Holy Trainer bio-resin devices (legit from HT, not knock-offs), and some metal devices as well. I've never had a problem or noticed any damage to a device because of the coconut oil.

    Back in the day, my search for a good lubricant went from baby oil, to mineral oil to coconut oil. I stopped looking for alternatives once I discovered the coconut oil. The coconut oil was by far the best one I used.

    My current device (NC03) doesn't require that I use any oil as it seems to fit "just right" and doesn't cause any irritation or problems. Fortunately, I was able to use that big "Costco sized jar" of coconut oil for cooking! LOL

    Thanks all, a very welcome and happy update to wake-up to indeed! :)

    Indeed, I far prefer to use coconut oil for shaving, moisturizing, lubrication, and so on.
    It is far kinder to my skin, does not leave unpleasant residue (while giving superior "slip"), smells great, and is bloody cheap for the "Costco jar".

    To say nothing of the fact that it leave me feeling super naughty & sexy when I used it on my various butt toys (other stuff never came close, especially for "long-term wear").
    I now know what I will be using from now on!

    We're in Oregon, so I used coconut oil as the base for cannabis oil. Strongly recommend this for those uncomfortable "breaking in" times with new rings or back in after a break.

    Just add a touch of DMSO and you'll be contentedly locked!
    But on the coconut oil itself, that's my fav, I use it on myself and the inside of a HT device to help me "slide" in. It's also an antibacterial, so it helps if there are any other problems.

    Good advice. Is it sold as a personal lube or sex type lube or more like a skin softener/lotion?

    @MissyB It's sold as a cooking oil. One of the healthiest, due to it's chemical structure. It's really neat, under 70 deg. F it's a solid, so it's easy to put it where you want it, when not cooking. :rolleyes: And in your deep fryer, once cool it does no splash.

    So does it just kinda relieve the burn and help keep the skin intact and less irritated under the ring? I see a lot of DMSO creams on Amazon now after searching…very interesting.
