Cobra cage

I have a couple that were purchased directly from Kink3D website and have not had issue with skin irritation. I’d strongly suggest buying direct. There is a strong used market on Reddit as well if you want to resell or trade while finding the perfect size.

 

I had one of their very, very early cages. The black dye used in the material leached out and stained my skin. Also, the printing process was a bit crude. Both the cage and the ring were not entirely smooth. I have 2 of their most recent offerings and they have none of those issues.

 

I've been very happy with my purchase of the baby Cobra. My wear times have been up to 12 days without it coming off. I have fallen in love with Johnson's Cocoa Butter baby oil gel and apply two fingers of that on the bottom of the ring after a shower. I have had no irritation.

I'm just over a week in a genuine Cobra, no problems.

 

Did you make your purchase? I had skin reactions with a knockoff cobra, but the real thing has been excellent. No reaction.

 

Now over six weeks in the cobra. It was off twice over a month ago and no noticable skin problems (next check is probably in a couple of weeks). This is way longer than I was able to do in a cb6k.

The key is keeping things really clean, after a good soap cleaning I squirt some 45% rubbing alcohol around the head and under the cage, then rinse it all off. I also use a drop of silicone lube along the ring every day.

For sizing, the size table was generally accurate although I could probably do a slightly smaller ring and cage if I wanted to spend on it. Maybe next year.

 

Describe the reaction please. I may have had that too.

 

It was itching and skin redness. It was worst where the bottom of the cage touched my scrotum.

 

I had redness and itchiness on my glans but it sounds similar

 

It's been great for me. I was so sad with the reaction because the knock off cage was super comfortable. I tried a steel cage after, but it just didn't fit right. That's when I made the decision and bought the real thing. It's been excellent. I wish you the best of luck!

 

Interesting thread for me. I bought a knock-off Cobra for sizing a year ago and it became very sore at the bottom of the ring (ie, my scrotum) after a few hours.

It was a shame as it had been really comfortable until then, fitted well.

But reading bones_bones say the real deal has not caused soreness is encouraging. Maybe a purchase is required...

 

My wife suggested that we put nail polish clear nail polish on the inside of my cage so that it doesn’t make my dick red angry

 

@SlaveBoy73 - You have a real Cobra or a copy? FWIW, I haven't had problems with a real one.

That aside, nail polish doesn't sound like something to put against sensitive skin, the solvents aren't that friendly, but I don't have another suggestion at the moment.
