Only been a couple weeks worth of use and has developed a little bit of wiggle. Anyone else have this happen? I am using a cheap lock from a knock off HTV4, might that be the issue. Are there better quality locks that make a difference, besides security?
It's not just the lock but the device as well. If the tolerances of both are too precise, then that makes manufacturing more costly. Also if the tolerances are very small, then there's the risk of the lock getting stuck in the device, or not being able to get it in at all, so they make them with a little free play. If there's room, you could try slipping a suitably thick piece of plastic alongside the lock to take up the slack. Start with something like a section from a yogurt pot, and work up and down different thicknesses until you find what thickness stops the wiggle.
