I am curious if anyone can help with sizing. I am coming off a holy trainer nub I have had the v3 and v4 now and looking for something even more restrictive. So I was thinking micro would be the next size down to make things even tighter. I am curious on the rings though what would fit the closest to the holy trainer ring sizes. I use the 45mm and 50mm rings. I am kind of between sizes so I have to go back and forth depending on time of year.
You can get a set of sizing rings, though it is only slightly more expensive to get the ring you think will fit best and buy a second if it doesn't fit. The Cherry Keeper has lots of sizing options (in many cases in 1mm increments), I'm sure you will find something that suits.
There's a fitment guide posted in the FAQ on the main page of the shop https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xt3bhdLJLzaxua-ZJk7Af9FA77-fmPtCf47bB48mgTA/edit
I'm also interested, I have the nub and it is very comfy. But I am uncircumcised and it is hard to stay clean in the nub. I was thinking the headlock might help, but I have extra room in the nub so not sure if the headlock cages will be too long for me. Cherry keeper is definitely my next purchase though. Just need to find the right one.
I highly recommend the Cherry Keeper line. You literally have THOUSANDS of sizing combinations available to you. Just don't feel terribly if you buy a couple of rings/cages in the process....I did, and like each one I get better and better.... A woman can never have too many shoes........
The Cherry Keeper Stub might be the right size for you, though others might be able to provide more accurate info on this. Cherry Keeper lengths are accurate (ring to internal end of cage), unlike Holy Trainer which uses rather odd length measurements.
Indeed they all have different ideas on stated lengths. Although the Wife thinks my dimension numbers were my exaggerated ideas. When she suprise shopped on ones we had internet reviewed the results on all three I came up short. Each cage on paper was a step down in length. The supposed shortest length is actually the longest. My 2 inches or so don't fill up a 1/3 of the 2.8" number. Cherry keeper is reportedly true to specification. Some have recommended me to try the micro. Wife now wants me in a custom mature metals steel cage as my new year's resolution. Will be a different meaning to the man of steel.
Thank you all for the suggestions. I believe the stub or probably the micro would be close to the right size. I was looking at the short because of the headlock and trying to keep the foreskin back to help with urination and cleanliness. My issue is I am small and thin so when soft I have extra room even in the nub. I tried a CB-6000 years ago as well and the width was too big as well. Most cages are about 33mm around and that is just bigger than me. I do think the nub ring is more comfortable than a standard round one so I need to measure that and try to match it up.
try to trace the non-round ring with a string. That'll get you close to "round", but ONLY close. Please don't be surprised if you end up buying more than one. Given the wait time at Shapeways and shipping costs, I'd recommend buying two sizes......you won't throw one away, but you'll certainly have a better idea what is best. Think iteratively.
@Lazlo Toth thank you for the advice, probably will go with a couple of rings and cages. Just so much to process on the site, way too many choices and not a good way to narrow them down, at least on my mobile browser.
Trust your measurements based on Josie's advice.....overall length is key......If you measure, say, 65mm.....don't buy something longer than that.
