Hi all, I’ve be been looking at the CK rings and I’m not sure what to buy. 40mm is a bit too loose so I’d like to get a 38 and a 39 for days when I need something looser. Not sure if 39mm is a thing that can be done . Also, I notice some of the rings are labelled with minus x degrees etc and I’m not sure what that actually means. Any help on what the different ring shapes are would be appreciated! Thanks.

Regarding the "angle": a positive angle will increase the gap between base ring and cage. A negative angle will decline the gap between base ring and cage. For several ring shapes...it all depends on your anatomy...Perhaps you should start to order two different types to try out. E.g. a circular one and an oval one.

If you go from 40 down to 38mm your making ring smaller. Will make tighter fit not looser.

Thank you. Just to clarify . I have a 40mm sizing ring and it’s too loose so I’d like to move down a size starting with a 39mm and then onto a 38mm. I’ll keep the 39mm if I need a bit of space for whatever reason.

One mm can make a big difference. However, changing the gap (by chosing a + or - angle) can do even bigger! Go, try and find your comfort!
