Hi! First post here. Just got a new Cherry Keeper and I've noticed that the base ring irritates me under my balls after a few hours of use. I'm not sure if this is because the base ring is too small or because of the slightly rough texture of the ring. I sanded it a bit, but I'm still getting the same issue. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I had a similar issue with the first CK I got -replaced the base ring with a premium finished option and that helped. A little vaseline or other lubricant might help the rubbing/irritating of your skin.

I found the plastic is porous and ruff. I went to metal, but if you sand it with 600 or 800 grit it does help.

I had a similar experience with a ring the same size as what I usually get. sanded the ring, but still had some burning after a few hours in. I got a different ring a couple mm wider and it fits perfectly without any burning / irritation

size and texture matter. I own about six slightly different sized cherry keeper rings. Each has its own nuance of wearability.

Sandpaper and lube are your friends for the ring. Dryness and that grippy texture are your friends inside the cage, I feel.

Just sandpaper it. There are nice sets at amazon with different intensity. Start with 600 get to 1000 / 1500 and finish with 2000.

The basic plastic didn’t bother me, but the pa12 was even more rough. I hit that with some sandpaper + wet sand up to about 1500-2k grit and it’s smooth as can be.

Thanks for the input!~ I sanded it using 800 grit sandpaper and it still seemed to irritate me. I'm going to try going to a larger base ring size and see if that helps!

I’m having this same exact problem. I’m going to try sanding it, and see how that goes.
Please let us know if the larger ring helps.
