    I took a scotchbrite pad and went over it......It's pretty smooth anyways....but there is a texture, to be sure. What does NOT exist are mold spurs and seams......NOTHING sharp in that sense like injection molded plastic.

    Lazy am I correct not sold in UK?
    And some of the ring are one others are two wide what the point of that please?
    Is there a ring can add & remove as when with spikes.

    I also bought a second cage.....a little longer, tapered tip. This helped to keep the tip of my cocklette from extending beyond the cage....which could be a source of chafing. Mind you, that's not the cage's fault, it's my measuring. I recommend a cage JUST a tiny bit longer than you are fully flaccid. I find this one even MORE comfortable.

    I believe only in the usa for sale. The ring is a single ring, but appears as two. It's just wider for more surface area. I see no spike option.

    I did think about the front end by pee hole if head could escape there need a bar top & bottom.

    They can be made custom with an extra bar. But that may interfere with urination. All depends on what you value. My biggest concerns are comfort and hygiene.......

    Should be available anywhere Shapeways can ship (includes the UK and most other countries, there is a (very) short list of exceptions on their website. The double ring, as I understand it is to increase the surface area of the ring and prevent hot-spots that some people get with a narrower ring. They didn't have that option when I ordered mine, and mine has been fine with the single ring. With regard to spikes, Josie doesn't offer a spike attachment to my knowledge. The CherryKeeper uses a system called headlock as an optional anti-pullout mechanism. I have the headlock on my cage, and it works well. It is essentially a narrowing of the ring that rests just at your frenulum, and makes getting the head in and out of its compartment trickier - a stocking is the perfect aid to slide into the tube and headlock without using lube.

    I have had a Cherry Keeper for a little over a year now, and it's a fantastic device.

    In addition to my other cages I bought the "short" with a single oval ring. I am trying it out for a while. So far, even MORE comfortable. One feature you cannot see is that the ring has a 3 degree downward angle. This decreases the gap between cage and ring, hence it spreads out the balls more.......Here are some photos:
