Having recently experienced 31 days with zero unlocks I can say, for me at least, that for short lock periods of a week or so porn still has interest.

Around 21-25 days in it totally lost it's interest for me.

So yes, for me, chastity was a good way to break the chain of porn.

Of course 31 days is too short to break a bad habit.

In my case it seems to go the opposite direction.

First I think takes time for the mind to adjust. A week or so being locked and then unlocked for erections and sexy fun times is not enough. I've done a month with weekly unlocks and porn was still interesting to me.

It's hard to explain to be honest but just sitting in front of the screen looking at porn (or whatever your favourite stimulation is) is nothing. It's an entirtely hollow and empty experience. Literally a complete and utter waste of time.

At some point the mind just accepts it and then treats it as it truly is; Just a waste of life.

I could see that, if I could have stayed locked for another month, then porn would mean nothing to me now.

I'm coming real late to this party, but this hits home for me.

I would identify my self as a porn addict. Before chastity, my routine of watching porn (vids/images) would be a normal part of my day - drinking coffee, taking a shower, eating, etc. It got to the point where it become more of a chore and it desensitized me. It sounds bad but think of it as like those functioning meth addicts that go to work lol, I'm still able to function pretty normally all things considering. But with the recent life stuff, I was back into a deep dark spiral.

Wearing my cage has actually curbed my interest in looking at pictures (I would be on Imagefap 2-3 hours a day, but now its 2-3 every other day). But saying all that, at the end of the day, an addict will always be addict - transferring that addiction to something else. Even though my addiction to my typical porn has decreased, my addiction for chastity, edging, ruined orgasms, and such are starting to grow immensely.
