    Hi,
I’m hoping some other cellmate owners can help me.

I’ve had a cell mate for two days and have been impressed so far Bur have noticed what may be a crack or defect where two pieces of the cage join. would be disappointed if it’s separated somehow so quickly or arrived defective.

The seam where the top and bottom piece of the cage join seems pretty visible at one side of my cage than the other. Is that normal or is it possibly a defect? Do others look the same?

I’m hoping it’s a non issue but I don’t want it to split on me while wearing

I’ve added two photos of the visible join side and another of the other side

    Thanks

It's a defect. The split you have is along the side seam where the top and bottom portions of the polycarbonate cage are joined.
