I had one it bricked after one week. pull-out was extremely easy since I can turtle in and out.

when it bricked I got a little anxious, but if you pull the base ring and cagetip in different directions the net-force will get you free, but the product won’t be waterproof anymore

now I’ve waited 2 weeks since my custom chastity ghost was posted - I’m really excited for it to arrive

This does seem like a really fun thing for long-distance (or when Mistress leaves town). Am I right in assuming that the idea that you pair it via app, and then can lock and unlock it? My question is about how this functions when that phone is not there (i.e. when Mistress has left town She takes the phone). How does this work?

 

@sissydavenport - You pair the device with your phone...the Keyholder then is transfered control from the app...they do not need to be physically in the same location. Think of it as the Keyholder has control of the lock/unlock functions of the app on your phone...and the app on your phone controls your device.

 

Gotcha. So a phone would still have still have to be here. Does it pair with computers too?

 

Only phone app based - It is a bluetooth connection. Your phone has to be within range and you access the device from the app.

 

I tried the iOS app and it was horrible. Notifications didn’t work, you had to be online at the same time as the keyholder to get unlocked. As QIUI states:” The software will not have a problem” is just plain bulls€$£.

if you just try it for a scene and not no serious, it’s fun enough. But don’t trust in the IP rating nor the software.

 

@KBS - Yes, the app is far from perfect. Poorly documented and there is a lot of trial/error in figuring out how things work.

My experience was that the Keyholder does NOT need to be online at the same time...if the you attempt to unlock when the Keyholder has control, they get a notification the next time they open the app...not a phone notification to look at the app...and then can decide to grant or deny the unlock request.

The Keyholder can issue an unlock command...and the next time the wearer opens the app, they will see the permission to unlock.

Not perfect at all..but it is what it is.

 

that’s true but from my own trails I’ve found out that even though the keyholder grants access at one point (iOS) the message doesn’t get passed through if I try to unlock later on even if it’s just a couple minutes in between. It’s really just not reliable.

but the CellMate is extremely easy to break out from if our get scared ;-)

 

I could not pull out and was only able to get out when the unit died by bolt cutters. I cut the top corners of the ring on each side - being much more than a little careful.

 

I think you are using the App in the wrong way, I haven’t the device but may be

you probably have to go in control and give acces to the app at Everi time not only when in use

In IOS you have to decide

 

You could have pulled the tip of the cage and the corresponding part of the base in opposite directions, then the plastic will give away and the small spikes will be freed enabling you to get your balls free - I managed it this way ;-)

 

@KBS - Wish tech support told me that when I contact them for help when the unit died. The only thing they suggested was trying to remove the battery. Perhaps mine was an old design that did not function like that

 

Sad to read you experience. I think I had the latest version for a week before it bricked with me in it, so I kind of feel with you

 

How long ago? I was thinking about trying one again..but if they are still failing, maybe not

maybe I will give them a few months to still work out the issues. The technology is so promising, it is hard to resist

 

afterwards I ordered a Custom Chastity Ghost 300 and an
Igloohome Smart Keybox 3 after I got it recommended here. It will be more reliable and be similar to the QIUI idea
