I have or rather had one, unfortunately the lock malfunctioned and I had to break out.

On the positive side, I found it to be pretty comfortable even after 12 days of continuous lockup (I could never say that about a CB device).

I can see some pretty amazing things from products like this once the bugs are worked out. Imagine gambling with lockup time. Or having someway to tie in a fitbit like device. ...Release could be made conditional on meeting fitness goals over time.

I'm sorry to frighten you Jane, Yes I did have to break the cage to get out. I'm sure the problem was simply a hardware failure with my unit, but if you do have a problem or any questions specific to the Cell Mate, PM me and I will do what I can to help.

The idea seems promising but I guess I'm too old fashioned to try it. Much prefer handing my key to strong willed key holder.

I have enforced extensive use of the QIUI, never needed to have the lock break.
They also have improved a lot in their new version.

Make sure you test the lock before you put it on.
I was trapped in one for 12 days before tech support finally gave up and instructed me to break the cage.
On the positive side, it was comfortable for 12 days

I received mine - the standard/small size Cellmate one - a few days ago.

I did put it on immediately and only took it off for showering and a good night sleep. Also feel surprisingly very comfortable in the cage. Nice texture of the plastic material used for the cage - I'm using the smaller one of the two included metal rings (European distributor also included two plastic rings).

Once you understand how to use the software respectively then to press the connect / activate bluetooth button on the cage, everything works fine.

Of course also hoping that it will work fine for a long time - I do not want to have to break out of the cage, which might be rather troublesome with the metal rings..

The included time-lock feature is very nice, also is the ability to transfer authorisation / unlock rights to another user/keyholder..

The basering is some kind of metal, and curved a bit (like the basering of the Holy trainer) The tube is a food grade ABS Plastic without any inward facing seems. I think I would have preferred the tube to be curved downward, but otherwise, it's pretty comfortable. ...much more so than any CB series cages I have worn. ...but not as comfortable as my Queens Keep

As far as the danger of being locked in,

    1) my case (as far as I can tell) appears to have been unique. My lock simply never responded to an unlock command. The software actually gave an error. I have yet to read or hear of anybody else having had this problem. ...and I've been looking. I've heard of a pin getting stuck, but that is just an alignment problem. ...but just in case, my advice is test the lock before putting it on.

    2) It is not a difficult cage to break out of. ...But you will destroy the cage in the process.

Despite the issues I had with this cage, I would still recommend it.

How is the pullout situation with these? And can you share some pictures of the cage?

There are no teeth or other anti-pullout measures on this device.
If you are someone who likes to escape, you will probably find a way.

Sounds interesting, I have the device from back when it was just called “qiui toy” back then the tube was made of very cheap plastic, the edges were extremely sharp, the tip was rough on the inside and the ring had to filed down to remove some metal ridges.

I could barely wear it for longer than two hours. After about 1.5 hours my cock and sack hurt. I had tried for a 3 hour session once, and then I knew this device was good for one purpose and one purpose only: cruel enforced punishment, if I ever was bad. So did they improve on all of that?

My cellmate tube is a sturdy food grade ABS plastic with no inward facing seems.
The ring is a polished metal.
I didn't find it painful or uncomfortable at all.
...even after wearing it for 12 days continuously

I had one for 10 days. On day 9 it failed to wake up and connect. I had a flight the next day. After emailing support, their ideas did not work, and I carefully used bolt cutters on the top corners of the metal ring.

My use was 24/7. No swimming, no submerging, but regular washing in the shower with a hand held shower head. I was able - with some discomfort - to get a pinky into the tube with soap for daily cleaning.

I was never able to pull out of the device, or to stimulate myself while wearing it.

It was much more comfortable than any CBXXXX or Holy Trainer I wore, but not as comfortable as a metal device (they are more 'open' and allow some expansion at night between the bars).

Qiui said it was a battery issue that impacts 1%-2% of their production, but after the device was off, I noticed the cover of the electronics was loose.

The technology is a great idea. I hope they really make improvements to resolve this issue and improve the device. It fills a HUGE need for people that share this interest.

When mine failed, tech support advised me to seperate the cover for the electronics. In doing so, the pin released. ...No need for bolt cutters.

I totally agree though, ...great idea with a poor implementation.

Tech support was telling me to remove the battery cover and they would send a new battery...which you know that when wearing, you can not reach the screws, especially if not knowing exactly were they are before putting the device on.

I will try it again, but give them at least a year to work through the issues.

The other thing I was not thrilled about was that you needed location services turned on all the time for the app to work.

I haven't looked at the software since November, but when I used it it had a lot of "English localization" missing (Many of the prompts appeared in a language I couldn't read). My phone also repeatedly warned me that the software was shady and advised me to remove it.

So the software needs a lot of updating, and they have some manufacturing related quality issues to work through.

At this point I think I've read about enough people having had problems with the Cell Mate that they should probably re-brand the product after they solve it's deficiencies.
